  • "First impression the view was amazing."

We were greeted with a dusty entrance way, some dirty high viz coat hanging on a rickety hatstand. After driving 5 hours couldn’t wait for a cup of tea normally there’s a pint left in the fridge for guests there was nothing ,the kettle was full of limescale so I had to buy some descaler to clean it the water was green,The damp smell and dust was overwhelming , checks need to be done after each guest has departed and a deep clean everywhere mirrors ,lamps etc were very dusty I could write in the dust the boxes you leave for guest to put their toiletries in need to be wiped out after each guest they had residue from previous guests. The tap had the previous guest toothpaste caked around it .you couldn’t brush your teeth or wash your face without banging your head on the cabinet as the sink is small ,maybe a mirror instead. To be honest we didn’t unpack. One small kitchen cupboard is not enough for guest to put their food in.. You could pack your personal belongings away to make space for guest .Put a wash on ,the cupboard that houses the washing machine was dirty and full of cobwebs with rat poison in full view no guest wants to see that.. No logs were left so we couldnt have a fire even though it states a start up pack is provided. The outside furniture was thickly covered in bird poo or falling apart so you really couldn’t enjoy the outside unless you sat on the steps. overall the stay here wasn’t pleasant and we left early ..

  • "We have stayed in many cottages over the years and this is definitely one of the very best."

Location was exceptional: sea views amazing, a very quiet country lane, maybe one car went past each day! Easy parking. Lots of birds and rabbits to see. Cottage beautifully presented and well equipped
