  • "Lovely house in a perfect location."

On arrival the house was spotlessly clean and welcoming. We settled in quickly and had arranged an on line supermarket delivery. The 3 bedrooms were generous in size with adequate storage. I particularly liked the open plan ground floor and additional cloakroom. Although some part of the flooring is looking a little worn. The house was literally 5 minutes walk from the beautiful beach and we took our 2 young grandchildren there every day after tea. The few niggles I have is that the 2nd floor bedroom would have greatly benefited from an en-suite bathroom. I was also a little surprised that there was no mattress protection on any of the beds. We had 2 young children with us and luckily I had brought my own. But also from a general hygiene point of view, I don't recall staying in a holiday home that didn't have them. But that might just be my experience. All in all we had a lovely time in the house and at Beadnell. I would recommend this company and we will definitely be returning to Northumbria

  • "Great property."

The house is in the perfect location, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The estate is quiet and well maintained. Just a couple of niggles that could be easily sorted. The house was generally quite clean, although the skirting boards in the top bedroom need a good clean and there was litter belonging to earlier guests under the drawers in the bedroom. The instructions regarding the keys were confusing, as the keys weren’t where they were meant to be. The bin days were also wrong in the instruction booklet. Would definitely stay again purely for the location. Also liked that the property had three double bedrooms so no one ended up in a bunk bed.

Thanks so much for your feedback. We will raise the issues with our cleaners and agents. We will amend the instruction book for the bin days. Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for the feedback. Property Owner

It's nicely furnished with comfy beds and quality bed linen. House is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the beach and central for visiting local places of interest. A real home from home and would definitely stay again.

  • "Lovely property and very clean."

Great to have the grass in the back garden for the dog.The front door did stick on most occasions but not sure why? This just made coming back in quite troublesome on some occasions, suggest having a look (we only used the main lock). To make property even better we would suggest a chair(s) in the top bedroom and hooks of the back of some of the bedroom/bathroom doors.

Hi thanks for your feedback. We have resolved the issues with the sticking door and have added hooks to the back of the doors. We are looking at a chair/seat for upstairs bedroom to try and maximise the view of the sea. Thanks for your feedback and glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

BEADNELL

Seahouses 1.5 miles; Bamburgh 5 miles.

This attractive and peaceful harbour village is situated beside one of the most beautiful stretches of Northumberland’s Heritage Coastline - Beadnell Bay. Established in Saxon times, Beadnell was once an important fishing village and a smuggler's haven. Nowadays, it is still a fishing village, but is equally popular with holidaymakers who come to enjoy its pretty harbour and, of course, the nearby sandy beaches. The village has a shop, two pubs and a café serving food. Popular Seahouses is just over a mile away and has shops, a supermarket and restaurants, and it also offers boat trips from the harbour to the magnificent Farne Islands - a haven for bird watchers. Bamburgh is close by, whilst the market town of Alnwick with its Castle and Gardens, shops, pubs and restaurants is a short drive away.
