West Dunkirk Neuk

West Dunkirk Neuk has two larch-clad huts set close to one another. Each has its own access and screened outdoor area, with walls and landscaping designed to give guests their own space. The huts are part of a working farm, and 2 West Dunkirk Neuk looks across open fields towards the North Tyne. You may occasionally see farm activity in the surrounding fields. The site is easy to reach from the main road but set back from it, surrounded by open countryside. On clear nights, the outdoor lights can be switched off so you can enjoy the dark skies. Humshaugh's village shop is around 1.7 miles away, while the nearest pub is around 0.8 miles from the property. There are also more pubs, cafes and places to eat in the surrounding villages. Hadrian's Wall and Chesters Roman Fort are close by, with walking routes along the Wall within easy reach, including towards the site of Sycamore Gap. For something different, there are padel courts nearby, while Hexham and Corbridge offer independent shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. The Tyne Valley and Northumberland National Park offer plenty more to explore, and Northumberland's castles and coast make an easy longer day out.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £150.

HUMSHAUGH

Hexham 6 miles.

Humshaugh is an historic Northumberland village, 6 miles from the region’s main market town of Hexham - a bustling town with a fine Saxon crypt, shops and restaurants.
