"What a little gem this cottage is."
You can really tell it's well cared for, it's so homely, even from when you first step into the front door. Cleanliness was impeccable and had a nice little yard outside for our dog. The welcome hamper and nice text messages were a nice touch. Wooler Common was only a five minute drive away and other places to visit weren't too far either.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

"We really enjoyed our stay here, cosy and comfortable with easy parking always available at the front."
Great location for exploring both the hills and the coast.
Really pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. We love the location ourselves. Near the town but quiet. Easy to get to the Coast. Edinburgh an hour away if you want the big city stuff.

"Our 3rd time of visiting in a year, very comfortable stay, very comfy beds, lovely real fire, quiet street, good parking."
Only a 2 mins walk to Wooler main Street with its dog friendly pubs and cafes, great place to explore Northumberland. Unfortunately on this visit the cleanliness wasn't up to standard. The whole house needed hovering, microwave needed cleaning, crumbs and a beer bottle top left on the kitchen bench. Great communication from Jenny and Trevor and a very kind gesture was sent in the post while we were staying at the cottage

"This was a beautiful house which felt like a home from the moment we stepped through the door."
From a welcome message, a lovely welcome gift to a nice send off message the hosts were amazing. With everything you need for a stay the accommodation was just what we needed. The added bonus of a log burning fire, blankets and cosy bedrooms it was perfect!!
Thank you Laura. It means a lot to us that our guests enjoy their stay. We hope to see you again in the future.

"Lovely, welcoming, warm, home from home."
All mod cons, tastefully decorated and so close to the shops and pubs as well as being close to nature. We loved it and hope to come back again. It was useful to have 2 walk in showers and the porch area for all our shoes and coats. Plenty of room for everything.

"This was our 2nd visit to this lovely comfortable cottage."
Secure garden, lovely log burner with plenty wood perfect for a November night. Comfy beds and sitting room, well equipped kitchen (bar the annoying extractor fan). Short walk to the main Street with dog friendly cafe's and pubs. Great location for exploring Northumberland
Hi Andrea, thank you very much for your review. We're pleased you enjoyed your stay, it means a lot to us. The extractor fan annoys us too. We'll be staying ourselves before Christmas and rest assured, it will be replaced then. We wish you a Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. Jenny and Trevor

"We had a lovely few days stay at skyelands, it’s in a gorgeous location."
House had pretty much everything we needed during our stay and it was cosy and warm on an evening. The owners, Trevor and Jenny, were lovely, we had a problem with the boiler so hot in contact with them and they sorted it out straight away! Thank you!

"We had a wonderful week at Skyelands the cottage is well presented and clean."
Lots of lovely touches and some lovely artwork adorning the walls. Thank you to the owners for their welcome gifts and checking in texts. The cottage is very comfortable and in a great location the scenery of the hills from the lounge window is fabulous. Wooler is a lovely place to stay with a thriving high street along with some nice places to eat and drink. I would definitely recommend Skyelands and would stay there again.
Thank you Linda, it's obviously a business as well as a 2nd home to us. We love Wooler too and our aim is to ensure that our guests should have a comfortable and relaxing stay. Just like we do ourselves. Thanks for taking the time to review us, it means a lot.

"We had a lovely week in Skyelands with our two boys, Father-in-law and dog."
The house was spotless, cosy and tastefully decorated with a nice welcome package which was most appreciated. The house was well equipped and had a secure garden for the dog which was a massive plus for us. There was ample parking on the road for both our cars too which was a relief!! Wooler is a great base for exploring Northumberland and this cottage is close to both shops and eateries! Many thanks to Jenny and Trevor for such a lovely cottage. We would defo come back!!
Thank you for your very kind comments. It's extremely rewarding to us to know that our 'home in the North' is appreciated. Thanks for taking the trouble to give us such a lovely review. We're very pleased you had a great time and hope to see you again.

"A wonderful stay and just what we needed after a busy few days in Scotland."
Such a lovely, cosy cottage in a great location for both the eateries on the high street and the Northumberland coast. We were greeted with a very thoughtful card and treats which was much appreciated! There was plenty of space for the 5 of us inside, and we had no issues parking. Although we barely used the kitchen, it had everything you could possible need and more (air fryer, food processor, huge fridge/freezer etc) and the bonus of a second bathroom was great. When back in the area we wouldn't hesitate to book Skyelands again and highly recommend it to others. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

"The cottage was fantastic and Wooler is a lovely welcoming town, the only slight issue that I personally had is that I'm 6'3 and 17 stone and repeatedly concussed myself in the bathroom doorways, but that's a Gordon issue, not a cottage one."
Would thoroughly recommend with the caveat that if you are a little larger than average, pay attention to where you're walking

Situated in the lovely little of town of Wooler and a perfect base for exploring Northumberland. The house was well equipped, spacious and comfortable for our weekend break and having an enclosed garden was great for our dogs. Would definitely recommend.

"The house was very clean and welcoming; the owners have clearly considered everything in a lot of detail."
Also, it smelled clean and fresh - but not of air fresheners! It is very well placed for access to Wooler town centre, it's a few minutes' walk to get to the Coop and the high street. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay.

"A lovely comfortable, relaxing stay."
The cottage was as described, clean with just a few crumbs on dining table, easily cleaned.
The beds were very comfortable and we slept well, the area is very quiet.
Log fire with lots of wood available a brilliant touch, we loved it on 2 colder nights.
Wooler is very charming, pubs and cafe’s very friendly. Had lunch at The Terrace which is dog friendly and it was lovely.
