  • "We had a wonderful stay at Arbor House Farm Bungalow from the 24th - 31st of July 2026."

    The house is so beautiful, has plenty of room and very comfy beds. The hot tub and outside seating areas were top notch and offered spectacular views. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, cutlery etc. The only thing we would recommend to improve, would be to have some better and bigger pans. Literally everything else was perfect and we'd love to visit again in the future.

  • "Second time we have stayed here the property could do with a lick of paint where ..."

    Second time we have stayed here the property could do with a lick of paint where people have stuck banners etc on walls and garden around hot tub could do with being weeded possibly a small hoover would be a good idea ,but it wouldn't stop me from returning again next year , stunning views shop 10 minutes walk away with Durham being 25 minutes walk we even had a baby deer in the garden area

  • "Lovely property in a great rural setting."

    The property is very spacious and most importantly the beds a very comfortable. The only downside is that the paving around the front of the property needs attention as it’s started to subside, you just need to be mindful when accessing the entrance door (could pose an issue for elderly guests) and also the bathroom mirror needs to be replaced as it’s deteriorated over time. Although I’ve highlighted two issues that require attention, we would definitely come back as we really enjoyed our stay.

  • "The property was in a good situation on the outskirts of Durham and the parking was good unfortunately it was let down by the condition of the paving it was uneven and a definite trip hazard it looked as though it had been like that for some time."

    The property was very comfortable especially the beds but would have benefitted from some refurbishment

    We would highly recommend the bungalow.The attention to detail is second to none,from the lovely welcome pack.The immaculate bedrooms.An amazing place to chill. If you have never visited the area,Durham is in easy walking distance.The bungalow just looks out on open fields.

  • "Lovely bungalow with amazing views."

    The beds were very comfy. The owner left a welcome pack which was very much appreciated also ropes and slippers. I struggled putting the shower on but my husband managed it. I think they could to with some more cooking utensils and a airer for towels etc The paving leading to the property was very uneven Overall we enjoyed our stay and Durham was lovely

    We only live 15 minutes away but sadly our dog can't travel to far now because of his age so was a change of 4 walls we enjoyed short walks ,loads of amenities on your doorstep beautiful property and stunning views , weather wasn't good enough to try hot tub but bet it's absolutely beautiful in the summer

  • "Hot tub very dangerous — no steps to get in or out, big drop to get in, and big gaps around the edges."

    Patio uneven and dangerous in the dark as there are no lights in certain parts. Kitchen had a horrible smell to it. Middle bedroom cold as there is no heating. Found a couple of lads with balaclavas on the bridle path just outside the bungalow — left us feeling very unsettled.

  • "We stayed here recently for my 40th Birthday and had the most wonderful time."

    The house is absolutely stunning and has a real wow factor. The hot tub is just wonderful with the most amazing views. We had the best week away. We met the owners as we had a small issue with the central heating, they responded pretty much instantly and came round within a few hours and sorted everything. Such a lovely couple too, really friendly and down to earth. Would definitely return.

    Really Great property , fantastically furnished within easy reach of Durham which is a beautiful place to visit with it's Cathedral and Coffee Shops with a multitude of eateries , easy access to other places like the Metro Centre , Sunderland and the North East coastline with it's beautiful sandy beaches

  • "This was excellent, flexible accommodation for a family get together with dogs."

    It offers both space and privacy. It is in quiet location with a lovely outlook and yet the city of Durham is easily accessible. The journey can be walked in 25 minutes and is pleasant although it does include a steep hill.

  • "We absolutely loved our stay."

    The location is perfect, with access to the trails for walking the dogs, whilst also being close to the city for exploring. The hot tub was perfect with the trees and lights making it feel nice and cosy. Inside the house is beautiful and a fantastic size. Our host was also lovely and we loved our bottle of prosecco on arrival. Thanks for a lovely stay. We will definitely be back!

  • "Beautiful property with amazing decor."

    Hot tub was a lovely bonus too. The kitchen however was very short of utensils and only seemed to have 6 settings for plates/bowls and cutlery. There was no bowl for example to put a salad in - we used the frying pan instead. We had a lovely stay though for my daughter's graduation. Thank you.

    Lovely decked outside area around the hot tub. It is the perfect combination, both spacious and private. The house was very comfortable and so were the beds. We had a few issues with the heating/hot water but when we contacted the owner they were very helpful and came out to sort this straight away. 10/10 customer care.

  • "What a beautiful little getaway, we stayed for 2 nights celebrating a couple of birthday's."

    The place is amazing, even better than the pictures advertised on the site. It had everything you needed and the beds were so comfortable! Hot tub with the most amazing views and we got to see two deers one morning right on the field, which was lovely. We will 100% be back, it was worth every penny for how nice the place is, the decor was just lush! We've had the most perfect little weekend away & the dog also loved his stay too, thank you!

  • "Lovely bungalow finished to a very high spec and the views are incredible ."

    We had a fabulous time . The bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and the beds are incredibly comfy . We enjoyed eating in the beautiful kitchen . The hot tub is the star of the show with the decking area and views , we literally spent hours in there ! Would recommend and will be back !
