Nestling in an idyllic rural location close to Embleton in Northumberland, Paddy’s Mount Cottage is a stunning Grade II listed barn conversion which cleverly combines traditional features with all the mod cons you would expect from a high quality holiday home and is the ideal holiday destination for a family holiday.

The open-plan living area has that real ‘wow’ factor with an attractive vaulted ceiling, feature floor-to-ceiling windows, tiled flooring and clean, white walls, all adding up to create a really light and airy space.

Step into the stylish, fully fitted kitchen and you will find all that’s needed to be able to produce good food for your holiday party.

When the food is ready to serve up, there is an attractive dining table with rustic table and chairs inviting guests to take a seat and look forward to relaxing meals together.

If the weather allows, then there are delightful gardens with breathtaking rural views and a patio area, where any children or dogs can run around while the grown-ups can relax and soak up the views.

When it’s time for bed, there are two bedrooms to choose from; a king-size and a twin.

They are both charming and even come with a TV each, so no need to worry about missing out on your favourite flick!

After a quick shower or relaxing bath in the morning, you’re good to go and ready to explore the delights of Northumberland on the doorstep.

Newton-by-the-Sea is nearby, as well as the picturesque fishing village of Beadnell which is also worth a visit.

About the location

EMBLETON

Craster 3 miles; Beadnell 4 miles; Alnwick 7 miles.

The pretty village of Embleton is ideally placed for exploring one of the most attractive stretches of Northumberland's Heritage Coastline. A beautiful grassy path runs from the village to neighbouring Craster, alongside the sea and past Dunstanburgh Castle - the largest ruined castle in Northumberland. Embleton itself has a village pub and a local hotel, and there is an excellent range of amenities in nearby Alnwick. The gardens at nearby Howick Hall are open during the summer and are noted for their beauty, whilst Alnwick Castle and Garden are a 'must-see' when visiting the area. For the keen golfer, Dunstanburgh Links Course is about 1 mile away - just one of several excellent courses in the vicinity.
