The only comment we would like to make re our stay was that the double bed was too soft for our liking, other than that every thing else was perfect.

Thank you very much For your feedback, I will make a note regarding the bed apologies we haven’t had any complaints in the past We would like to see you return to North Farm in the future Property Owner

  • "Lovely bungalow; wonderful views, clean and comfortable."

One or two suggestions, the bedrooms are lacking in wardrobe size and chest of draws for clothing, there was inadequate amount of oven cookware and the coat hooks sited in the hallway cupboard were not practical as wet coats would have dripped over the vacuum cleaner and ironing board. We enjoyed our week there and would love to return.

A swimming costume spinner in the changing room to take out the excess water would be good, apart from that it was lovely

I did not dare try again. The property was wonderful especially the log fire but the things you left for us were of no use due to food allergies, lactose intolerance, but the thought was appreciated.

  • "3rd year staying and last 2 stays perfect."

This time we had 2 power cuts leaving us completely in the dark (literally) from 17.00 until 09.10 next day. With 1 child aged 2 years who was hysterical and scared and cold no visit from management came. Food in freezer was thrown out and also partially cooked dinner that was being prepared. 2nd power cut was shorter and still no visit from the owners who live on site. Outside power box had no front cover and dangerous. Toaster was only working if an adult held down the sides. Very disappointing holiday and more expensive than we planned due to having to stock up freezer again

  • "The house in great condition."

The bedrooms were small and lacked storage. The kitchen need more cutlery and crockery etc to make use if the dishwasher. Kitchen utensils/knives and forks are too weak and not strong enough. Great fire. Proximity to coast fantastic. Arriving in the dark there is insufficient lighting and parking near the house. Swimming pool a great addition to the property and was well used. A great holiday. Thanks.

Cosy and comfortable with fantastic views. Very spacious. The wood burner is a great asset and was prepared for us for our first night. We appreciated the food starter pack too. And the extras for our dog were good. Enjoyed several swims in the private pool which was very clean and warm. Very happy and will return.

Beautifully maintained and comfortable, warm and cozy. I really appreciated the the provisions that were waiting for me after my long drive, milk, juice, bread, butter, tea and coffee, even some biscuits to go with the coffee. I booked on the spur of the moment as a break from a hectic home life it and fulfilled all my expectations. The local area is stunning with plenty to do like coast walks, beaches, castles, historic towns, harbours, boat trips not to mention the hills and moorland. I didn't use the pool as I forgot to bring my swimsuit! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and left feeling reset and energised.

  • "Thank you for our stay - we really enjoyed it."

Our little boy loved the pool and the pond on site. We really liked that the pool was exclusive use and you could choose a time slot that suited. Facilities were great - location perfect. We’d love to come back - only a few things that could do with changing… a new washing machine is definitely needed - or a really good clean it was unusable! It would also be really useful to have some shelves in the bedrooms and bathrooms for storage when unpacking. I also think a couple more lamps in the living area would be nicer so the evenings feel cosier rather than having to have the really bright overhead lights on. Overall a brilliant stay!!!!

The owners had thought of everything. The location was beautiful and the sun rises were amazing! The kids play area opposite was brilliant, allowing the kids to play whilst we could see them from the house. If you are planning a working holiday and need wifi it will drive you around the bend but I think it's a Northumbrian wide problem not just at the cottage! The beach is about a 20-30 minute from the house.
