The property

Hillset View provides the perfect escape to the beautiful Peak District.

Set at the top of a quiet cul-de-sac, this attractive single-storey holiday home has off-road parking for three cars, a spacious private multi-tiered garden, and a large decking area with seating.

Well-suited to families, friends or two couples, this good quality accommodation comprises two double bedrooms, one with a super-king-sized zip/link bed which can be split into two single beds.

The living/dining room provides a welcoming, comfortable place to come together after a day exploring the beautiful Peak District.

The kitchen is well-appointed with an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster.

Enjoy a beautiful modern bathroom with a large shower.

The real highlight of the property is the outstanding view.

Sit back, relax and take in the ever-changing scenery across the valley.

If you’re lucky, you may even spot a hot air balloon rising gracefully above the river, creating a truly spectacular morning or evening view.

The valley is also occasionally used by military aircraft, so guests may be treated to the exciting sight of a military plane flying low along the valley.

If you can tear yourself away from the view, Bakewell town is a short walk away; it is known for its beautiful riverside setting, historic Parish Church and, of course, the Bakewell Pudding.

With many independent shops, restaurants, cafes, a swimming pool and the Monday outdoor market, there’s plenty to enjoy.

Bakewell is perfectly placed for exploring the Peak District, with beautiful walks, picturesque villages, historic houses, the Monsal Trail and stunning countryside.

Nearby, Chatsworth House, its gardens and farmyard make for a great family day out.

Haddon Hall brings medieval character and history.

Matlock/Matlock Bath offers riverside walks, Heights of Abraham cable cars, and access to the Derwent Valley.

Buxton, a spa town with a beautiful 18th-century Georgian Crescent, Opera House and Pavilion Gardens.

After a day exploring, return to the holiday home and if the weather allows, relax on the decking with a glass of something chilled, fire up the barbecue, soak up the outstanding view, switch off and relax while the evening softens over Bakewell.

EPC Rating: Band C
