  • "Great location."

    .. Not far from the town centre of Nantwich.. Great walk if your fit enough and plenty of shops and a market three days a week... You are in the centre of many places to visit... We found lots of info in the apartment... Every thing you needed was in the apartment and the beds and pillows were sooo comfy.. All in all 10/10....only problem was the stairs... I have mobility problems and they were a bit steep for myself and the dog.. but it didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. There were great views out of all the windows.. Would highly recommend this place

  • "We had a wonderful long weekend staying in this canal-side apartment."

    The location was perfect and peaceful yet close enough to shops, restaurants, and local attractions. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Waking up to the canal each morning and enjoying a coffee while watching the boats go by was a real highlight. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and communicated well throughout, making everything easy from check-in to departure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We'd happily stay here again!

  • "We had a lovely comfortable stay."

    The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay with the dog. The additional bags, washing up liquid etc in the kitchen were appreciated. Great position for access to Nantwich and good walks nearby. The only addition we would recommend is a fan, if the weather is very hot.

  • "We really liked the location right by the canal and it was interesting to see the boatyard in action."

    We walked along the towpath to different places every day. It’s a nice stroll into Nantwich, lots of shops and pubs/restaurants. We went to the outdoor brine pool in Nantwich one morning which was great during a heatwave. It was very picturesque along the canal, lots of boats moored and pootling past. Interesting to see the site of a Civil War battle at the bridge leading to Acton. Everyone out walking and on the boats was very friendly. The apartment was very comfortable and suited us very well. It would have been nice to have a portable fan provided because it was very hot while we were there but that’s probably not a problem most of the year. It was very quiet at night and we slept well. Lots of room to park. There’s no designated outdoor space, and I thought there was from looking at the photos - the picture of the wooden table - but there are benches and a few tables dotted about around the marina and canal. We will probably stay again as we have family in the area and it worked well for us.

  • "Loved the location by the canal it was really nice to walk dogs straight from the front door, it’s only a short walk into Nantwich which was great."

    The property was very spacious and clean, it had a really good shower and comfy beds. The downside we found the settee and armchairs not so comfortable when sat for longer periods like watching a film.

  • "The apartment was exactly as described."

    Comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had 2 dogs with us so a perfect spot for walking along beside the canal. Easily walkable in Nantwich with so many places to eat. Great little cafe in the marina as well, which was perfect for breakfast! Would definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.

  • "A very nice roomy apartment, with a bus-stop just nearby."

    No need to drive and park into Nantwich. Very nice crew working at the Marina, and pleasant walking the nearby towpaths, and we are in our 80's. Only one little thing for us that needs adding (and cheaply!), some small hangers on the back of the bedroom/bathroom doors please. Spot on! Would we go back again? Certainly.

The delightful market town of Nantwich is located 5 miles to the south east of Crewe and stands on the banks of the River Weaver and the Shropshire Union Canal. It is famous for its outdoor Brine Pool which is one of the few remaining in the UK and heated throughout the summer. There are regular market days throughout the week and a monthly farmers' market showcasing the best of produce from the local area. Nantwich town centre is pedestrianised and benefits from some superb examples of historic buildings, and is well worth visiting in spring and summer when it comes alive with floral displays throughout the streets. Nantwich plays host to many events throughout the year, including The Battle of Nantwich in January, the Jazz, Blues and Music Festival at Easter and the world-famous International Cheese Awards in July. Both Market Drayton and Whitchurch are within 12 miles and well worth a day trip to enjoy their history and architecture.
