“The cottage was well-equipped and very warm.”

Comfortable beds and bathrooms - plenty of hot water. We had an open fire on some nights which was a bonus.

Comfortable beds and bathrooms - plenty of hot water. We had an open fire on some nights which was a bonus. The nearby Pub 'The Lazy Trout' was excellent, food and ambience great. We had Sunday lunch and one evening meal there and breakfast on our last morning; about 5 minutes walk from the cottage. Lots to do in the area, good walking even in the rain we also visited Chatsworth House, Buxton and Bakewell.
