The property

Castleton 3 miles.

This sympathetically renovated, detached barn is situated in a fantastic position within a wildflower meadow with sheep and ponies grazing to your door, yet only a five minute walk from the bustling village of Bradwell.

Columbine Barn is perfect for families, groups of cyclists or walkers seeking an adventure.

Upon entering, you arrive into an open plan kitchen, boasting contemporary décor and well-presented fittings.

The dining area matches the room well, and is ideal for sitting down and enjoying breakfast in the morning hours, or discussing your plans for the afternoon.

Just across from this, the sitting room is light and airy, with elegant sofas and cushions so you can relax in comfort through the evening.

Wander up the stairs, and two family bedrooms are laced with character, each hosting a double bed and adult bunks.

Oak furnishings and overhead wooden beams bring an almost traditional effect and this space promises a relaxing sleep night after night.

On this floor you will also find a contemporary shower room with a rainfall shower so you can get ready in style.

Walkers will enjoy exploring the delights of the Peak District National Park and there are even footpaths to enjoy from the doorstep including the Bradwell to Brough and Bradwell Edge footpaths.

On sunny days why not stroll down to Bradwell and enjoy a meal in one of the local pubs or restaurants.

You certainly have the best of both worlds in this scenic location.

A peaceful rural retreat.

“Columbine barn is a great place for two families of four, we stayed with our children and our children’s friends, 4 kids 10-12, they all slept in one of the bedrooms and had a fantastic sleepover for three days, absolutely loved it, the beds are very good, all large and sturdy built, and very comfortable, the only thing that I thought was that the small bathroom might take a little bit of time if eight people all needed a shower and the toilet all at once, Aside from that the barn was extremely comfortable and suited our needs perfectly, the kitchen was nice, the table is large enough for everyone comfortably to sit around, The wifi was great, we took a streaming device and watched Netflix when kids went to bed.”

The barn is situated rightly on a footpath so you can walk out across the field straight from the door. We walked to brough which was about half an hour . Baradwell is great too we had a meal in the pub which was great, All in all, I would 100% recommend this barn, Thanks for letting us stay. John
