  • "We had a lovely week staying at The Creamery."

    We arrived to a spotlessly clean & cosy cottage. It was very much a home from home cottage. Rebecca called to introduce herself a few days before we arrived with lots of info and tips on places to visit & eat etc. We visited the cinema at Barton Marina, it was a really nice cinema and the food was also good. Everything was so relaxed and Rebecca was very responsive to the couple of questions we did have. We had the most delicious Sunday lunch at Somervills restaurant at the Wychnor Country Club, just up the road from The Creamery. We will definitely be back!

    The host Rebecca, gave lots of ideas for local walks and really nice eateries. The cottage is extremely well equipped with the hot tub being an added luxury. Rebecca made us most welcome and provided unexpected treats on arrival! Would thoroughly recommend.

  • "First impression was ‘Wow’."

    The cottage is lovely, well equipped and comfortable. The welcome pack was great and included an enormous sponge cake which lasted us several days. Having rented many cottages over the years The Creamery comes as one of the best.

  • "One of the best cottages we have ever stayed in."

    The owner was brilliant with all her advice and help and knowing when not to be around. The cottage is fantastic and the courtyard garden was such a great place to spend time lazing around. The tree must be mentioned but you will have to stay there to understand why.

    It had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub in the evening after a day out was brilliant. Nice and quiet apart from Mr Rooster in the morning but that's the countryside for you. Well recommended.

  • "Absolutely gorgeous cottage, so lovely decorated and had everything you could need."

    We had planned a few things but ended up staying at the cottage the entire time. We had a cake baked on arrival, a bottle of fizz on the table and a cozy warm cottage to walk into. The courtyard is so cute with tubs of fresh herbs and a beautiful tree that lights up next to the hottub. Leading you into the kitchen and dining room. The owner has thought of pretty much everything for your stay, even Yorkshire pudding tins (always missing in ever cottage we’ve been too) and shot glasses. There’s loads of books and games in the living room for you to use and a cute log burner to keep that cozyness going. 2 beautiful bedrooms both en-suite upstairs. Definitely gonna rebook and bring my parents for the weekend. Thanks for everything. James and Lee

  • "The Creamery was like being in a 5 star hotel, immaculate and comfortable, and the owners had thought about providing everything that you needed and some extra treats which was a nice touch."

    It was a very quiet area with great walks for every ability, along with easy access to many tourist spots. The creamery is a great choice for a relaxing break, one we would definitely like to return to.

  • "We have stayed in many holiday cottages and this is by far the best."

    Becky could not have been more helpful from the moment of booking all the way till check out. The owners have really thought about everything including some unexpected extra touches to make your stay comfortable. Park up in the off-road parking area and unload your bags before stepping into the delightful property, set within an idyllic rural location.

Alrewas is a town settled into Staffordshire. The town offers a convenience store for all of your holiday essentials, as well as a selection of pubs and eateries. Dining options include The Crown Inn, The George and Dragon, and Bank Coffee House. The town is close to a selection of fisheries, ideal for fishing enthusiasts, as well as the National Memorial Arboretum (Alrewas, Staffordshire). There are a selection of towns located close by which offer further amenities and attractions, including Lichfield, where you can explore Lichfield Cathedral, Wall Roman Site, and beyond this you will find Tamworth Castle and Twycross Zoo. The cities of Birmingham and Nottingham are within reach of the property, offering many attractions, eateries, and shopping days, and there is also the option of exciting days out at Alton Towers. Nature lovers can indulge in the scenery of the close by Cannock Chase National Landscape, and there is also the option of exploring the incredible Peak District National Park.
