Set in the heart of a beautiful Perthshire rural estate, West House has been refurbished to provide delightful holiday accommodation whilst retaining all the charm of a traditional Scottish cottage.

A large open plan living room enjoys a relaxed atmosphere with large comfy sofas and chairs centred on a wonderful log burning stove, whilst at the other end of the room is a well equipped kitchen and dining area.

The room has a wonderful mixture of antique furniture and fitments together with the comforts of modern life and with a door opening to the garden, guests can wander out for evening drinks.

Upstairs the cosy bedrooms with painted pitch pine walls are bright and comfortable with super king beds.

Outside, guests can wander the many scenic walks on the estate and especially enjoy the private pathway walk down to the banks of the Tay to watch the river flow.The nearby city of Perth offers a range of attractions, including Scone Palace, Perth Museum, and riverside walks along the River Tay.

Venture to Dunkeld and Birnam to explore The Hermitage woodland walks and Dunkeld Cathedral, or head to Crieff for visits to Drummond Gardens and access to scenic countryside routes.

Stanley 1 mile has a corner shop, post office, butcher, chemist , playparks, pubs and restaurants. The popular 'Active Kids' at Burnside Farm and 'Stanley Mills' are also notable attractions.

There is so much for everyone in Perthshire regardless of age and taste. Whether your interests lie with history, culture, stately homes and castles, gardens, wildlife, fishing, golf, cycling or adventure sports, they are all within easy reach. Guests can wander round the fair city of Perth, only fifteen minutes away, with its cafes and restaurants, theatres and galleries, or enjoy a day at the famous Perth Races.
