  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cottage."

The place was secluded and yet close to various beaches and places we wanted to visit. The place was more equipped than we expected and the owners and neighbour were lovely. Would come back and recommend . Karen and Ruori and family

Thank you for your kind comments and we are very glad you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future. Property Owner

  • "Stayed for a week with my family and had a wonderful time."

Really comfortable and well equipped cottage - we all loved staying here and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Great location if you want to spend time both on the coastline (e.g. Arbroath only 20 min drive) and the local hills/mountains (e.g. Sidlaw hills 25 min drive, Angus Glens 45-50 min drive). Would recommend!

Many thanks for your kind review, it was lovely to meet you and your family, we hope you may visit Courtyard Cottage again. All the best, Tim and Alison Slingsby Property Owner

  • "We had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay at Courtyard Cottage."

..with a warm welcome given by its owners. It’s situated in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, well equipped, catering for adults and children alike. Better than home from home. Apart from some confusion on Sykes behalf, regarding whether the ‘good house-keeping’ bond was applicable to this property, our experience of booking was hassle free. In addition, we question why Sykes offer a ‘breakage’ policy, when a good house-keeping bond exists for that property.

Cottage was clean and in good condition with hand sanitiser machine which I wasn't expecting. The property was in a quiet and peaceful rural setting and well situated for touring the towns and attractions in the area.

  • "The cottage was as expected with the facilities and rooms."

On the nice days the scenery outside was breathtaking with the view of the large trees and the crows flying. On the rainy days we were shielded from the harms of the storm and kept ourselves entertained with the provided xbox and TV. On the day of arrival we were welcomed with complimentary cupcakes which was a heartwarming gesture.

Modern interior with very spacious accommodation. The interior was clean and welcoming, however driveway up to house was a challenge on the car springs. We will in no doubt return here in the near future.

  • "We had a really warm welcome from the owners who live in the adjacent house."

Not only did we get fresh milk and bread, tea and coffee, but as it was Easter we got hot cross buns and an Easter egg for our daughter. They invited our daughter to join in their Easter egg hunt on the Sunday. The grounds are beautiful and there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. We will be recommending the cottage to our friends.
