  • "Upper Home Farm is one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed in."

We booked here for a surprise 70th birthday for my husband . The range of our 15 party was 70years to 6 years. All of us loved it, the home was clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped, we wanted for nothing. The pool table was well used as well as the annex with table tennis and badminton. The views and walks where breathtaking, the horses and pony were well loved by the children and the short walk( though slippy due to the snow) to the amazing swimming pool was well worth it. Thanks for a fabulous time.

  • "Upper Home Farm was amazing!"

We had travelled in 3 cars from different parts of the country and there was plenty of parking. The village is in a very rural location and accessed via narrow country lanes from every direction! There was a lovely pub - the Royal Oak - less than 2 miles away but the footpaths were too muddy to enable us to walk there this time. The living areas and bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was one of the most well equipped we have have stayed in. We were 3 generations of a family - 9 in total - ranging from 9 - 75 years booking for a Christmas get together. There were 2 separate living rooms but each enabled us to all be together if we wanted to, plus lots of other options, also the dining table in the kitchen seated us all too! It's amazing how many properties advertise for a large number of people but don't have enough space to seat everyone, which is important to us. Sara, our host, was very attentive and responsive, and had left a supply of fuel for the log burner, which was a nice bonus. The house was equipped with a pool table, which we made good use of, and there was table tennis and a small gym in an annexe. There was also another gym and lovely indoor swimming pool a 10 minute walk away that could be booked for a 90min session which we took advantage off too. This is probably one of the best houses we have rented for us all, and we have stayed in a lot. We hope to be able to return.

  • "We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Upper Home Farm."

The accommodation was very clean, spacious and well equipped. A lovely welcome with the Christmas trees, lights and decorations made it feel homely. Lots of lovely little touches left by the owners. Some great walks around the area with fantastic views. Good communication with the owners who were very helpful. Would highly recommend.
