"Snowdrop Cottage was fabulous."
The property is very clean, comfortable, stylish, very well equipped, needed for nothing. The cottage has high ceilings with oak beams, tastefully decorated ( it has certainly renewed our interest in owning a barn conversion). We had a very busy week touring and walking all that The Vale of Glamorgan has to offer, many castles, stunning beaches, Nash Point Lighthouse, picturesque churches, NT property Dyffryn Gardens, where 'The Other Bennett Sister' was filmed. Popped to the Rhondda Valley (stunning scenery) for the very interesting visitor centres attached to the coal mining industry with tours by very friendly and informative former miners. Unfortunately underground tours with one were not operating on the particular day we visited, but above ground sites were available to explore. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and hope to return. Thank you so much Lorraine and Snowdrop Cottage for our fantastic week.

"A compact, well maintained property decorated to a high standard with a good selection of crockery, pots, pans and utensils."
It was very rural and quiet which made for a relaxing week. It is not far to drive to beautiful beaches and also towns so despite being remote it was well located. Hosts were very responsive when we contacted them. We left on a sunny day but our car was under cover which would make packing up easy even in the rain

"Snowdrop Cottage is one of three situated beyond a very old farm house at the end of a narrow private road."
It can be difficult to find especially after dark so don't be surprised if you end up getting lost. But don't let that put you off.
It is very well equipped, maintained to a high standard and is very clean. There are more than adequate cooking facilities with an electric cooker and microwave and fridge freezer. The bedrooms are comfortable and there is plenty of storage space. The heating is very effective.
There are plenty of local attractions including the church, beach and cliff walks at Llantwit Major, independent shops (and a Waitrose!) at Cowbridge, and further afield Cardiff, St Fagans, and Dyffen Gardens are all within easy reach. The motorway M4 is about 15 minutes away for longer trips inland.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can recommend the property highly.

Everything one could possibly need was there. Everything was clean and tidy. Communication was perfect and the owners are very nice and helpful. We can definitely recommend the cottage to all who love the freedom of the countryside but don’t want to travel to far to towns.
