Cottage very well equipped and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful and introduced us to her llamas . We took them for a walk and brushed them and for us this was the highlight of our stay. Chilcompton is perfectly positioned for exploring Somerset. We will definitely return. .

  • "A lovely cottage, very well presented."

A great setting, although the exit from the lane to the A road is tricky at both ends (nothing to do with the property). Heartily recommend the property, and the owner is clearly very conscientious about it. Excellent overall.

A guided tour of the prison was worth a visit. The house did not disappoint. Beautiful/tastefully decorated. Very comfortable, clean and to a very high standard. The owners have thought of everything. Was great to arrive to a very kind welcome pack. The garden is lovely with swallows/swifts darting around. The bats fly around at night. We used the games room a lot. More than happy to chill in there at night with a glass of wine, music and numerous games of pool. Would definitely recommend! Regards, Wendy Andy.
