Make your way through to the welcoming open-plan living space, where comfortable sofas invite you to sink in after a day of exploring.

Just beyond, the neat kitchen area has everything in place to prepare anything from a leisurely breakfast to an evening feast.

Whip up your favourite dishes using the oven and hob, keep local produce chilled in the fridge/freezer, and pop the kettle on for a well-earned brew before heading out for another day in South Ayrshire.

As evening draws to a close, retire to one of the two welcoming bedrooms.

The king-size bedroom offers a relaxing place to unwind, complete with a dressing table, mirror, and bedside reading lamps for slower mornings with a good book.

The twin bedroom provides a flexible space for family or friends and features sliding doors concealing the storage, helping keep the room neat throughout your stay.

Begin each day in the contemporary bathroom, where a light-up mirror complements the choice of a leisurely soak in the bath or a refreshing rinse beneath the shower.

Step outside onto the rear decking, where mature trees create a wonderfully secluded feel as you settle into the outdoor furniture with your morning coffee or an evening drink.

As dusk falls, sink into the bubbling hot tub beneath the open sky and let the peaceful setting work its magic.

With a river just a pleasant stroll away and a shop within easy reach, everything you need is close at hand throughout your stay.

Step into the history of Culzean Castle, an impressive estate with origins dating back to 1569, where the elegant Round Drawing Room, striking Oval Staircase, sweeping sea views, woodland walks, and resident deer create a memorable day out, while younger visitors can burn off energy in the adventure play park.

Families will also love Heads of Ayr Farm Park, where bumper boats, quad bikes and tractor rides sit alongside a variety of friendly animals and picnic areas for a fun-filled afternoon.

For those eager to embrace the outdoors, Galloway Forest Park offers miles of woodland to explore, with scenic hiking and cycling trails, peaceful fishing spots, and plenty of routes for walking the dog beneath some of the darkest skies in the UK.

DAILLY

Ayr 16 miles.

Located on the Water of Girvan in South Ayrshire, Dailly, or ‘New Dailly’ to distinguish it from ‘Old Dailly’, was developed in the mid 18th-century as a coal mining village. The ruins of the Robert Adam-designed Dalquharran Castle stand on a hill overlooking the village. The ruined church at Old Dailly dates from pre-Reformation times, and houses the mysterious Blue Stones; thought to be Charter Stones, ancient symbols granted to an area in place of a written charter, several legends have grown up around them. One holds they were Sanctuary Stones and would protect anyone sitting against them, and another belief is that their mystical powers would bring good fortune to anyone touching them. The village of Dailly today has a pub, shop and post office and the series of Dailly Trails make for ideal walking, forming part of the Carrick Way. Dailly’s proximity to the Ayrshire coast makes it an ideal venue for exploring the many golf courses, beaches and castles, including spectacular Culzean Castle, and with the Galloway Forest Park nearby and its many walks and cycle rides, this is a great location to use as a base for touring.
