    The decor is somewhat dated and the mattresses could have been more comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring Pembrokeshire.

  • "It's a shame."

    The property was not well maintained. Damp ceilings visable in the bedroom and bathroom. Toilet leaked water over the bathroom floor. Cold water taps in both bathrooms,continuously dripped and were a nuisance at night. The place smelt very damp and musty, we kept our clothes in the suitcase rather than hang them up. The dust on the walls and behind the beds were very visible. The house needs a deep clean. Garden was over grown and not pleasant to sit out. The owner did not take notice of feedback written in the visitors book. The bed in the main bedroom; mattress and bed required replacement. Bed in second bed, the mattress had a spring sticking out. The list can go on....

  • "Spacious property with sunny courtyard."

    Welcome pack much appreciated after a long journey. Well equipped kitchen but no washing machine if you need this facility and nowhere to dry any smalls eg a clothes maiden would be useful. Good quality furniture but mattress in the main bedroom not the best. The wet room was one of the reasons we picked this property but a higher toilet too would be ideal. The toilet in the main bathroom wouldn't flush properly and although there were numerous grab rails none at the front door which I struggled with. Overall a comfortable property with a central location which I would recommend to anyone visiting this area.

  • "A convenient country bungalow not far from Saundersfoot or Tenby."

    In places it could do with a little updating , the hall floor gives in places suggesting floor boards need attention which is a little alarming when you have mobility issues. The shower in the main bedroom is excellent for the less mobile, and the kitchen well equipped. We enjoyed the TV with Netflix. A small WIFI Problem was sorted very quickly by the owner, who offered to visit if needed. Both double beds not the comfiest but were ok.

    Lovely property very clean ,everything that was needed ,also a lovely welcoming pack ,visited lots of places ,new quay and Aberaroes they were longest journey about hour from there ,Saundersfoot ,Wise man bridge Manabuire ,and Amroth short drive away so we're able to visit lots of places ,and enjoy our break there

  • "Whilst this property would benefit from a proper deep clean to deal with cobwebs and bugs etc, it is a very well considered home from home."

    There’s a lovely welcome gift of crisps, cakes and wine on arrival. A lot of thought has gone into giving a good experience to renters. There’s a smart tv with free view but if you had a Netflix account, you could sign in. Also, 2 Echo Dots about the place for fans of Alexa. Jigsaws etc for the quieter types. The bungalow is nicely placed for many places to visit. Not far at all from nice sandy beaches. It is a little bit dated, but you’re only there for a short time, so that’s no problem.

  • "The home is on a quiet cul de sac, with a very private little garden."

    The owners even sourced cots and high chairs for our foster babies so we didn’t have to bring quite so much with us. It’s was spotlessly clean with comfy beds. The walk in shower in the en-suite was great.

With the coast just a short drive away and a range of amenities within easy reach, this property is a fantastic base for a family trip to South Wales.

On arrival at the bungalow, off-road parking makes uploading your bags an easy affair.

Step into the property to find a spacious living/dining room where you can kick off your shoes and relax on the L-shape sofa to watch TV, or dine with your loved ones at the dining table over a delicious meal.

Continuing through the home, the kitchen offers all the appliances you need for a self-catered break, including an electric oven and induction hob, perfect for feeding the family after a day of exploring.

On the warmer evenings, take advantage of the outdoor space to the front and rear of the property.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. Oakwood Theme Park is a 10 minute drive away and boasts the biggest wooden rollercoaster in Europe, whilst the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
