"Really great place, think the listing and other reviews doesn't do it justice."
Location wise once you go past the petrol station and get to the chalets you then back onto farm fields and lovely scenery. Yes you can hear the road noise with the doors open but that's to be expected with the chalet location. It's spacious and has plenty of room for 6 adults or a combination of adults and children. Has lots of good facilities to cook with, and does have a high chair which wasn't listed in the original listing. Was spotless and clean on arrival and check in was really easy. And even though you were next to two other chalets once you were in yours you wouldn't know as you cannot hear any other noise! Highly recommend if you want to be a 20/30 minute drive from many of Pembrokeshire top spots like Manobier, Saundersfoot, Tenby, etc.

"We had a very good stay at Skyes Cottage."
The cottage was clean, well maintained and comfortably furnished, with good-quality furniture throughout. The master bed was particularly comfortable, although we found the second bed a little less comfortable.
The kitchen was well equipped, with a good amount of crockery and some handy basic spices, which made cooking and eating in very convenient.
The garden is nicely maintained, although it is not particularly large, so the boys didn’t have much space to play ball.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend The Oaks for a comfortable and relaxing family break.

"Lovely place for a 4-day break."
The garden. Was lovely to play with the dogs and my son. Very modern and lovely holiday let. Worth the money I say. Loads of room for a washer tho. Which we missed. There is a washing line in place ready. And the wife missed a dressing table in the master bedroom. But all good.!!

"The property appeared very nice on arrival, but there was a severe sewage stench at the front door entrance area, during the entire stay, preventing the use of the front lounge windows, during the hot spell we opened the front windows to be greeted with a severe stench of raw sewage, also both locking mechanisms are broken and you had to turn the handles sideways to hold the windows shut, Not Secure."
When we tried the TV in the master bedroom it was not working and eventually, we managed to get it to work and it was all displaying a foreign language, after several people tried to sort it, over a couple of days, it did evenbtually work. it continually had sub titles on the display, so we ended up using our I pads.
having booked for 10 days we left early as we found out later that the washing machine had been removed and there was no facilities to carry out washing on site, very little information on anything.
Had we brought the grand children with us the lack of a basic washing machine wouuld have been even more of a problem.
The front door handles springs were gone with the the handles dropped, Several windows glass were misted, there was a water leak in the on-suite that we initially repaired, the basin trap was loose and had been leaking for some time, the shelves were saturated, but there was also another leak somewhere at the rear of the vanity unit, leaking onto the floor on the entrance side of the vanity unit. Reported to the garage staff.
We found a dirty pair of boxers under our bed after dropping a coin on the floor and going to retrieve it we found the dirty boxers, disgusting??
The settee is the most uncomfortable item weve ever attempted to sit on, for most of the stay we sat at the table and a beach chair which were more confurtable.
We had multiple power cuts on one evening, luckily Ryan was on site and chased the reason for the problem and up-dated us. the wife went to cook and found the roasting trays rusted unable to use them.
We could not find an inventory as we noted cutlery appeared to be also missing.
A proper welcome pack would have made the stay more helpful, with books for appliances.
Initially the hob wasnt working but found this to be a MCB out.
So for a short stay only recommended due to the lack of washing facilities and the extremely uncomfortable settee.

"It was a lovely stay and you have everything you need."
But if there was simple things like salt and pepper and maybe cooking oil so those things didn’t need to be taken with us. Definitely internet on tv’s been handy so kids could watch Netflix as it didn’t worked on any of the tv’s. We found BBQ utensils but been nice to have outdoor BBQ. Those are just suggestions for making stay perfect. Otherwise it was very comfortable and really lovely place to stay. We enjoyed morning wake up from sheep.

"The Oaks was a fab house, arrived and the place hadn't been cleaned."
..but it was no trouble to the people at the garage to go and get it cleaned for us( a mix up with dates) while we enjoyed a trip to Tenby for food.
The place was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay, would definitely consider this place again, maybe the bigger one in the future.

"We had a really lovely stay, the property was beautiful, very clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable visit."
It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making it feel welcoming and homely, and we really appreciated that.
The only small suggestion I’d make is about arrival. We arrived quite late, and it was already dark, which made it difficult to locate the property. There were no street lights nearby, and the “Strictly Private” sign was a little misleading. A clearer explanation or more detailed directions for late arrivals would be really helpful.
Overall though, it was a fantastic place to stay and we’d happily return! Thank you ☺️

"We have just returned from a 4 night stay and we wish we could have stayed longer."
The property was absolutely amazing. The photos really dont do this place justice. It is spacious and has everything you need provided (even hair straighteners!).
My 2 boys (aged 13 and 6) are used to staying at places that have fairgrounds or arcades on site, so I was expecting them to be bored, but they absolutely loved it. My youngest enjoyed our morning hot drinks in the garden watching the sheep chase the crows.
We will definitely be returning and have already shared the property with family members.
Thank you so much for the best 4 days
5 star from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"The oaks is a lovely bungalow refurbished to a high standard."
The beds are very comfortable and the bed linen is lovely. We had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. There was some road noise when sat in the garden but the flip side of this is that the bungalow is in a great location for accessing the local area. I would not hesitate to recommend this property

"Well equipped cottage presented to a high standard."
Only minor issues are the door to the bathroom is misaligned and therefore very difficult to close fully. Also it would’ve been nice to have the lawn mowed to enable the children to play outside. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay at a reasonable price.
