  • "Had an amazing stay."

Cottage very quaint. The log fire was great especially as we found the cottage a bit cold. It had everything you would need. Only negative was that we found the bed and bedroom very small. The mattress was very uncomfortable as well. Woke up with aches and pains. Loved the area and all the facilities that were available at the property. Owners have done a fantastic job. Thank you.

  • "We loved our stay there, superb setting, excellent, well maintained facilities and a warm and friendly welcome."

The cottage had been transformed from a traditional stone farm building with taste and to a high standard, all in all a great holiday spot.

  • "This cottage is a perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday in wonderful rural countryside."

Gareth & Rosemary are the perfect hosts , who were there when needed. The property is well equipped & the site offers lots of things to do. My Wife particularly enjoyed the heated indoor swimming pool. We would certainly like to pay a return visit. We are both in our eighties, but returned home feeling much younger.

We were then left to ourselves for the rest of our stay. Lovely setting and well thought out. May come back at some point and complete walk around the reservoir!
