  • "The property is situated in a very rural, beautiful area."

If you want peace and tranquility this place is the place for you. The log burner has plenty of logs to keep you warm, after a wet day trekking up mountains or visiting waterfalls. The beds are extremely comfortable, but we did find the duvets extremely thick and heavy. We are used to 4.5tog, so always struggle with thicker duvets. My husband and two children 2 and 10 stayed here, so it's perfect for children too. There's plenty of space on the grounds to explore and a local fox kept visiting us at night...along with some sheep. Oh and listen out for the owls at night too. The bird feeder is a lovely touch and I couldn't help but buy some bird feed whilst we were there, so we could enjoy our morning coffee watching: "Woody the woodpecker". When it came to us leaving, we all didn't want to leave and that's when you know you've stayed somewhere wonderful! Thank you so much and if we are visiting that way again, we will definitely book your place!

That’s brilliant that you got to see the Woodpecker! He doesn’t visit everyone. Not sure where the sheep came from though.. they definitely shouldn’t be there. The bird feeder seems to be a hit with everyone, especially the visiting Blue Tits. I chose a mid weight 10.5 duvet as I knew I couldn’t please everyone. I was hoping it would suit this time of year especially as the weather has now turned. We’re so glad you enjoyed the gardens and grounds, we plan to keep improving this and make a proper nature trail through the woods with things to find. We also plan to install a swing and few other things for kids to do. It’s been a busy first season and a steep learning curve for us getting to understand and anticipate our guests needs. Thank you for a lovely review, I do hope you come and stay again ☺️ Property Owner

  • "We were very happy with the accommodation everything was catered for and we were short of nothing plus we liked the large garden with lots of blue tits feeding and i love the semi wild look as did my dog Jacko."

I’m so glad you all enjoyed your stay especially Jacko ☺️ It’s always been a little wild there and I wanted to keep it that way whilst making the grounds a place to walk in and enjoy the space. We have plans to keep improving the woodland paths over the next year too. We’d love to welcome you back sometime Property Owner

  • "Lovely short stay enjoyed in late August."

The weather was mixed, but the property was enjoyable throughout. Lovely log burner to dry out after any adventures and comfy beds too! Plenty of decent kitchen equipment and all the necessities as well. Lovely to be able to take our 2 dogs and enjoy the lovely garden space as well. Far enough away from the crowds but not too far from activities and attractions. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to meet you all and your beautiful dogs too ☺️ I’m so glad you enjoyed your stay Property Owner
