  • "Great accommodation, spacious, well presented, with everything you need."

Very conveniently located, just a stone's throw from Beaumaris Castle, and there are lots of shops and eateries around. It's also a good base for exploring the rest of Anglesey. The steps to the accommodation are steep, so not suitable for people with mobility issues. There is no parking at the property, however, all day parking is available at the Beaumaris Green Car Park for £8 (correct as of May 2026), which is only a 3 minute walk away and lasts until midday the next day. There's also some space just outside the property where you can load and unload the car. Overall, a great place and I would highly recommend.

  • "Nice, clean, spacious and well equipped apartment."

You have everything you need here to have a comfortable stay - the owner has made a real effort with the decor. Beds were comfortable, lovely linen and the bathroom was spotless. I liked the quirky entrance but I would add that this property would not suit those with mobility issues and with young children. The stairs to the first floor - there are three flights of stairs - are VERY steep. It's perfect for more active people who like to be in the centre of things - the location is fabulous for shorter stays. It's an attic apartment so I think fans in all rooms would make things comfortable in the summer months. It would have been nice if the owners had considered the forecast before our arrival and popped a few fans in there. Parking can be a bit of a pain because if you're staying for a few days there are no 24 hour tickets, just day and overnight tickets so there's a bit of back and forth as the overnight tickets expires at 7am (not sure how they can enforce that though, but didn't want to take the risk). For those staying a week the cost of parking is £50.00. The car park is so close I wouldn't let that put you off, just bear it in mind. We managed to un-pack and pack the car right outside of the accommodation too, which is handy.

BEAUMARIS

Menai Bridge 4 miles.

Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
