Parking is very close. Property is warm, welcoming and spotless. It is in the centre of pubs, shops, tourists, dog walkers, horses... The apartment was comfortable and warm. Facilities were more than adequate for a self catering holiday. Fridge requires some attention particularly lack of freezer compartment door and defective bottle storage in fridge door. However this in no way detracted from a great week and would have no hesitation in returning.

The books and media supplied are very considerately chosen and the whole styling of the cottage is very tasteful. I was very happy to find a painting of my late friend Tom Durkin in the sitting room. Everything in the cottage is arranged with a noticeable attention to details. Very appreciable! Just the icebox in the refridgerator should be equipped with a lid, that's all I would suggest. Anything else is really fine.

Although described as an 'apartment,' the word didn't do it justice. It was so cosy that we were sad to leave. Home comforts, character, location, history...it had everything we wanted from a short break.

the complimentary hampers are a lovely thought too. I stayed at another property in the past but left after one night and booked church view the next morning. I have recommended these two apartments to lots of friends and family who had never been to Haworth before and they are now regular visitors like myself and my husband.

  • "We had a lovely weekend break in Church View in Haworth and couldn’t have been happier."

It was beautifully decorated and fitted out, scrupulously clean, clearly well cared for and very comfortable. The welcome basket of wine and chocolates was a lovely thought too. The location is excellent, right in the centre of the shopping and eating area, yet quiet enough to relax between trips out. The only downside is not having off-street parking but it’s only 100 yards or so to a local authority car park that only charges £4 for 24 hours so that wouldn’t put us off coming again. Brian and Margaret really do look after their guests.

  • "Nice place, friendly people, good food and beer."

If you want to visit the Bronte Museum you couldn't get a closer accommodation. The apartment was nice and l would agree with what most people have said about it. Clean comfortable and well resourced. As the accommodation is self catering it would have been nice to have had a free cupboard to put food in as all the cupboards were full of various bits of kitchen equipment. The integrated fridge unfortunately had a broken freezer drawer when we were there so couldn't really use it, it wasn't a major problem for us and I'm sure they were going to have it fixed soon. It rained alot when we were there so the steps to get in to the apartment at the back got very slippery. Not a big problem just needed be a bit careful. People have said about the noise. We found when people rented the accommodation above we could hear them moving around and as we had the bedroom window open we could hear the people out side the pub next door when they were going home but this was only one night and only for a few minutes. The church bells ring every quarter for an hour which was nice but they're quite close so if you're a light sleeper this might be something to consider. However they only rang on Saturday Sunday and Monday when we were there I think they broke down. Personally we would have liked to have seen pictures of the bathroom before booking because the toilet area is really quite small, the shower and basin are fine but the loo is in a very tight spot! That said we would rent the accommodation again as I think the accommodation is well worth the money.

It was so beautiful, the pictures do not do the place justice, the apartment was stunning and it was a perfect size for two people. I would highly recommend that you stay here. It has great views of the main strip from the front and the church from the back. It made my mum and I want to live there. So far we have stayed in Haworth five times and this for sure was the most we felt at home. Excellent place.

Apartment is on the doorstep to everything. Fab brewery bistro just across the road. Food and drinks fab and very reasonably priced. Super king-size bed was lush, especially in hot weather and so comfy. All pubs, cafes bars are either outside or down the bank so all within walking distance. Just be wary of steep bank as apartment is located at the top but nothing too bad (plenty of pub pitstops on a at back up ;) ) Overall excellent stay and we were lucky enough to see the tour de Yorkshire. Already planning another weekend trip bk here.

, almost next door to the church and a few yards from the Bronte Parsonage and Museum. The helpful assistants at the Tourist Office are just over the road. You do need to be agile enough to cope with steps at the property entrance and to the first floor, and of course walk the steep village street. The facilities at the property are excellent, the central heating was efficient and the water hot when needed. The "Welcome" basket was a nice touch. Everything we used worked. Even the vast bed was comfortable. We felt very much "at home". Haworth is a good centre to get out and about and we only used our car on one day of the holiday, all others we used the local buses and of course the Steam Railway was a must for one day.

  • "We thought the apartment was very well equiped and nicely furnished with some special finishing touches to make you feel welcome."

We had one niggle but contacted the owner and he sorted it out straight away. The one thing I would say is that we prefer to stay on a higher level as need quiet. Obviously we appreciate this being an older building the floors were creaky, naturally so. However we did not know we would be on the first floor and someone would be above us. The choice was not listed on your website. Also, as we know the area very well, we were looking at the photos, as we did not want to be near noisy pubs, with say, smokers standing outside. Your photo does not show the pub !!! However, saying that, as we were out of season, it was not a problem. These are very minor points but I know customer feedback is very important and we are hoping to look at Wales for next June and will definately look at your company again.

About the location

HAWORTH

Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.

The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
