Property was comfortable and everything you need. The owner was friendly and helpful. One small thing a downstairs toilet would have been welcome. There is plenty of places near to take a dog for a walk. The golden fleecepub nearby gave generous servings, dog friendly Would happily stay again and recommend to friends.

Only thing for us was not enough garden space for dogs but that is not the owners fault. The weather was not on our side either but overall the house s a great place to stay

"Absolutely stunning property loved our stay."
Spotless! Well equipped and lots of lovely treats for us and the dogs which we really appreciated.
Garden isn’t secure for dogs as they could easily get under the gate when it was closed.
Slight negative with the heating system as it was far too warm during the night and we didn’t want to disturb the settings. We had the windows open but it was uncomfortable in the early hours of the morning and was noisy, not excess but it disturbed us as we were awake as it was so warm.

Most well equipped place we have stayed in, everything has been thought of. Thoughtful welcome gift which you don't always get. Would recommend to anyone. Few people have already said, the pictures do not do it justice, that is very true. Enjoyed out week there.

"A lovely little property to explore the local area."
The cottage had everything you could need for a weeks holiday. It was really handy having a driveway to park the car, and there was plenty in the kitchen to self-cater when you don't want to go out. I'd definitely recommend staying at 2 James Street, a very good little find.

Loved the shower especially the non-slip floor to it. The log burner was superb.
Loved the kitchen and bathroom and your decor is very tasteful.
We spent a wonderful week at the cottage and it is a good base for getting around by car or public transport.
Truly one of the best UK holidays I’ve ever had.
Thank you

Completed to a very high standard, clean and exceptionally well equipped. Just needs a gate in the garden to stop the dogs going in the back area as this is the owners, however we did meet them and they said it was on the to do list

"Excellent property - excellent location - I sincerely believe the photos on the site do not do enough justice to the quality of the accommodation provided."
This was a perfect holiday home - located exactly where we wanted to be! Walks from the front door - onto the moors - into Haworth and beyond. Loads of attractions also on the doorstep. Off road parking - dog friendly - pub next door - for a much needed cider after long walks in the dales - and loads of other pubs close by for good food and an evening out after exploring the attractions. Do yourselves a favour - this place is a gem - book and enjoy a fantastic Yorkshire getaway! Owners also very welcoming and friendly - thank you for giving your visitors such a lovely holiday home as an ideal yorkshire base!

"Generally very well equipped, decorated and furnished."
There was some great info about the history of the property within which was intriguing to read. The property is situated in a lovely rural village just outside Keighley, which was handy as we were visiting family in the area. In general, our stay was very comfortable. We visited Skipton, Haworth to name a few.

"The best renovated and equipped cottage we’ve stayed in."
Absolutely nothing to criticise. Immaculately clean and ready when we arrived ( early). We met the owners who were lovely. We mentioned there wasn’t a garlic press in the kitchen. I’ll bet there will be one very soon. So obliging. Will say it’s not totally dog safe although we cordoned a bit of the back yard off with some chairs. Maybe if some mesh was put on the double gates it would be better for dog owners. Our dog liked sitting at the front gate watching ( woofing) the world go by. If you want a drink the Snooty Fox is only a few yards away. Nice friendly people. Clean. Dog friendly good selection of reasonably priced drinks. We only went in “early doors” but understand they do have live music. Plenty of local walks and public footpaths. When we go back to Howarth or that area we wouldn’t look anywhere else. Quick easy drive to Keighley if you want a supermarket. Coop down the road. Oakworth Station close by for Worth Valley Railway. Plenty of buses close by. Short journey to Howarth and it’s lovely shops, bars and eateries

The property is really well equipped and very comfortable. There was a welcome gift awaiting our arrival which included a treat for our two dogs who also really enjoyed their stay and particularly liked the freedom of the moors.
We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this property and would most certainly return.

"Delightful and quaint house."
Renovated to a very high standard but the owners have maintained the character and charm of the property. Very comfortable and homely. Kitchen really well equipped. The hosts live next door and are lovely people, they recommended a number plates to visit .The welcome gifts were much appreciated as were the fresh flowers. We were also treated to some home grown Rhubarb and Bramley apples, which were delicious. It's an ideal location as there's lots to do within easy reach of Oakworth. The Keighley and Worth Valley railway, Haworth, Saltaire, Salts Mill shopping centre is worth a visit with it's bespoke shops and galleries, Shipton Castle and town, Embsay and Bolton railway, Shibden Hall, National Trust East Riddlesden Hall and lots of lovely walks.
Thank you Pete and Anne for making our stay so comfortable and thank you for your help when Tim hurt his leg, just sorry we had to leave a day early. Would highly recommend 2 James Street. Best wishes Tim and Mandy
