  • "We loved our stay, the cottage was cosy and immaculately clean, and really close to all the local amenities."

    The beds are very comfortable, the shower was fab and kitchen had everything you could need. The only downside was the living room furniture which is now past it's best so a bit uncomfortable, that said, we would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

    It was only a five minute walk to Skipton town centre. The only negative was the fact that the sofa and chair were very worn and therefore not very comfortable.

  • "We enjoyed our stay in in 4 Pembroke Street in Skipton, great location, quiet, close to both the train station and Tesco."

    Cute 2 up 2 down terrace house. We felt right at home and the kitchen was well outfitted, with a very nice welcome assortment of goodies. The beds were super comfy. The only issue we had was a mix up with the directions, saying the lockbox was a the front door, when it was at the back door. The owner was quick to help us out.

    We spent a ver comfortable holiday there. Up to date leaflets of things to do in the area gave us some good ideas of where to visit. We spent a rainy day at Saltaire Mill and learnt a great deal as well as having a lovely lunch

Grassington 9 miles; Harrogate 20 miles.

Known as “The Gateway to the Dales”, Skipton is well placed for visiting all that the Dales has to offer, whilst York, the Lake District and the West Coast are also within easy motoring distance. This lovely market town has much to interest the enthusiastic visitor, boasting an ancient castle open to the public, a beautiful old parish church and a colourful market occupying the cobbled setts each side of the high street.
