Devoran is a small village in South Cornwall, just 4-miles
southwest of Truro. Its name is derived from the Cornish word for
water, 'Dowr', due to the village being the meeting point
of two rivers. Devoran is a great holiday destination as it has
excellent links to nearby Falmouth and Truro and is a quieter, more relaxing
counterpart to its busier neighbours.
Formerly a busy trading port, Devoran is home to some beautiful
walking trails along the Fal River, towards the coast. Its close
proximity to Falmouth and Truro make it the perfect base to explore
the town and city alike. The vibrant city of Truro is great for
shopping, culture, architecture and dining out, while Falmouth has
lovely traditional pubs, a thriving art scene, beautiful beaches
and a rich history.
We have a fantastic range of accommodation in and around
Devoran, with more than 200 properties to choose from, including
traditional cottages with cosy wood-burning stoves, character
cottages in quiet rural locations, contemporary cottages and more.
