  • Alton Towers

    Perfect for adrenaline junkies as well as families, Alton Towers theme park has a mix of large rollercoasters, smaller rides and attractions, as well as beautiful gardens that visitors can explore.

    Nestled in the heart of the Peak District on the East bank of the River Derwent is the beautiful family seat of the Dukes of Devonshire, historic Chatsworth House and its extensive grounds, both of which are popular with visitors all year round.

  • Combs Reservoir

    This walk takes you around Combs Reservoir near Chapel-en-le-Frith on the edge of the Peak District National Park. For an adventure, follow the shoreline footpath towards the village of Combs.

  • Crich Tramway Village

    Visitors can ride the world-renowned vintage trams through the street. Head out into the countryside to appreciate the remarkable views on offer too. Complete with an old-style sweet shop, pub and café.

    Eccles Pike is an isolated hill three miles to the west of Chapel en le Frith. Follow footpaths through the countryside where there are fabulous views to be seen over the Peak District.

    Eyam Plague Village Museum

    In 1665 the Bubonic Plague arrived at the village of Eyam and instead of fleeing and spreading the disease, the villagers took the selfless decision to cut themselves off from the outside world, the museum honours their sacrifice as well as showing how the village has prospered in the years since.

    Recognised as Britain’s most romantic house and gardens, Haddon Hall is the family seat of the Dukes of Rutland and is situated by the River Wye near the town of Bakewell.

    This 17-mile trail runs from Dowlow (near Buxton) to High Peak Junction (Cromford) and encompasses breath-taking Derbyshire countryside.

    Little John’s grave is said to be in the graveyard of Hathersage church in Derbyshire, near where the legendary Robin Hood is thought to have originated.

  • Matlock Farm Park

    Set in part of a 600-acre working farm, the park provides a variety of activities for all the family. Animals to see include wallabies, meerkats, llamas, goats, peacocks and sheep, to name a few. The on-site tea room provides a well-earned rest for parents whilst the kids enjoy the playground area.
