  • "Initial glitch resolved by owner immediately and this did not affect our stay."

    Sunny Views was just as described, in a beautiful location and close to local amenities. We'll stocked kitchen equipment and thoughtful treats left for our 4 legged friend. Beds were comfortable, good pressure in the showers. You can't fault the view looking out over the hills and it was so peaceful which is what we all wanted. A little steep drive up into the property but we had no issues with our cars. We all agreed we would happily stay again.Thanks Bruce and Jayne

  • "Sunny Views is a super comfortable holiday home in a lovely peaceful location, with a well stocked co-op within an easy walking distance to get anything needed (plus a great chip shop just down the road!"

    ). The house was really clean on arrival and we liked the personal welcome pack - owners were very responsive & helpful to a request from us before check in. Really well equipped kitchen and some thoughtful touches for canine travellers - with dog treats, bowls and separate cutlery in the utility room. Combe Martin is pretty but gives easy access to Ilfracombe / Woolacombe / Croyde Bay :) We had a great stay and would definitely recommend Sunny Views

  • "The house is modern and spotlessly clean."

    Well equipped and spacious in all the rooms. Lovely view from the decking area, a nice place to eat dinner or breakfast when the weather is fine. We only spoke to Bruce during our stay who was welcoming; friendly and very quick to respond to any issues or questions. The welcome package and little extras for the dog are really appreciated. Location was ideal for what we needed, and also in a very quiet area. We did find that the property is not fully dog secure - the gates do not go to the floor and our dog could easily get out underneath. Worth noting that the driveway is extremely steep for any nervous drivers.

  • "A lovely clean house ,spacious and bright."

    The drive and the steps to the property were challenging! The only criticism is there were no jugs or bowls to use in the microwave and no instructions for the oven - as a gas cooker user we had to guess - but we got there . Thanks for a lovely stay.

  • "Sunny views is a beautiful house."

    It felt like home upon arrival, spotlessly clean, well maintained, peaceful location, short walk to amenities and a lovely welcome pack. There were lots of crockery, cutlery and glassware and the little extras for our dog were really appreciated. There's a co-op about 5 minute walk away and we enjoyed drinks and food at the Castle and Pack O'Cards pubs. We highly recommend Sunny Views and will return.

  • "Fantastic property which we felt comfortable in from entering."

    Spotlessly clean, comfortable and we had all the utilities we needed. Lovely touch of leaving a welcome tray with biscuits, cake , a welcome card plus Prosecco and milk in the fridge. Would love a shelf in the shower to put shower wash and a nest of tables in the lounge .

    A very welcoming and comfortable house. Every need was catered for, including being suitable for our lovely Labrador; treats were provided for her as well as us. Will certainly return. Also a great place to stay to visit all the wonderful sights of North Devon. The owners were very friendly and helpful if needed.

  • "The house was spot clean."

    Location was excellent and as the name says it did had “Sunny” views during our entire stay. Photographs don’t do full justice to the actual house and its luxury. All the big and small things were avaialble for use and so many real flowers and welcome snacks, wine cakes were there to welcome us. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The was plenty to explore around this area and it was excellent for stay of 6 and with our pet

The property

Sunny Views is a charming detached property resting in the rural town of Combe Martin, ideal for friends and families, offering off-road parking, it is a wonderful abode for your next adventure to Devon.

Park up outside this property and unpack, first discovering a spacious kitchen/diner housing many amenities to cater to your culinary needs.

Contemporary furniture provides space for guests to cook together and enjoy a hearty meal at the dining table, as the handy utility takes care of your laundry.

The sitting room hosts movie nights from plush sofas, and, when the sun is shining, make the most of the warm afternoons with a glass of your favourite beverage as you recline on the decking.

Outside there is also a lawn space and barbecue.

When sleep calls, freshen up in a lovely bathroom, offering the choice of either a soak in the tub or a warm shower, before you cosy up in one of the three pretty bedrooms with TVs, choosing between a king-size with handy en-suite shower room, a second king-size and a twin.

Combe Martin is a delightful seaside town resting in Devon, offering a great many amenities and attractions, including convenience stores for your holiday essentials.

The town also boasts three lovely beaches, the Combe Martin Beaches, Newberry Beach, and the Wild Pear Beach, watersports facilities and access to stunning coastal walks throughout the local area.

Resting within the outskirts of the Exmoor National Park, there is ample opportunity to mountain bike and hike, with options including Dunkery & Horner Wood National Nature Reserve, National Trust – Watersmeet and Barle Valley.

At the point where the Exmoor National Park and the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty meet, is where you'll find Combe Martin. This small seaside resort, with all of the necessary amenities, is a great attraction to locals and visitors alike. Combe Martin has a very popular beach; the sheltered cove is perfect for rock-pooling and it is a popular paddle boarding bay. The village also boasts its own Wildlife and Dinosaur Park! Combe Martin is home to the historic Earl of Rone festival held in May each year and has an annual carnival in August. This is an ideal base for touring, and discovering the delights of North Devon, with Lynton and Lynmouth, Woolacombe, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Ilfracombe and Barnstaple all within easy reach. There are also numerous National Trust properties and gardens waiting to be enjoyed. Surfing at Woolacombe is among the best in the South West, while the South West coastal path passes within a mile. Combe Martin is a great base for enjoying a seaside getaway, with something to keep everybody entertained.
