  • "Roadside parking very dangerous on a really busy rat run , cottage very run down , very uncomfortable sofa, dangerous step at top of stairs ,neighbours playing drums at all hours , bed was comfy and it was warm indoors ."

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry the road was so busy as during your stay there were roadworks nearby causing traffic to redirect past the cottage. These works will be finished shortly. I'm sorry you thought the cottage was run down. I am surprised to hear this as we only started letting the cottage a year ago and everything is brand new. This is not mentioned by the guest on the previous review just a few months ago in September. The pictures of the cottage on the website are just a year old. My caretaker has recently visited the property she said everything is in good order. I'm sorry you found the sofa uncomfortable. I'm surprised to hear that as it's only a year old. Thank you for pointing out the step into the bedroom. We are now mentioning this to guests in the property description. I'm glad you found the bed comfortable and the cottage warm and look forward to welcoming you back in the future where hopefully all the issues raised have been resolved. Property Owner
