“So comfortable and clean accommodation, good situation for walking and places to see.”

Facilities are quite good with a lovely children's play are, dog field, etc. Lots of wildlife around including many different birds and listening to the cuckoos was an added bonus. This was our second visit and we will return.

The property

Lavender Lodge is a modern lodge located in the Applethwaite area of Limefitt Park.

Step inside to this bright open plan lodge which offers a great relaxing space to unwind.

Lavender Lodge sleeps four guests plus an infant in a travel cot, with an open plan living/dining area and a great outside decking area where you can all socialise after a day of fell walking or visiting nearby villages.

The open plan living space means you can all get involved with cooking and chatting without anyone missing out.

This lodge is ideal for families or couples to relax in the heart of the beautiful Lake District.

Nestling in the Troutbeck valley Limefitt Park is a great base for your touring or walking holiday and is a lovely spot just four miles from Windermere village, five miles from the lake shore at Bowness, and ten miles from Ullswater.

You can walk to two local traditional pubs through the fields, and up onto the fells behind the Park toward the High Street range.

Jump in the car and you’ll discover Brotherswater six miles away, and Ullswater ten miles away.

All of course, with local pubs and shops and fantastic walks and breathtaking views.

Back on the Park there is a handy pub and shop, and children’s playground.

Lavender Lodge is a lovely place to base you and your family for your Lake District adventure.
