  • "What a lovely find!"

The property is situated just off the main street and is perfect for vsiitng the shops, restaurants and harbourside. The inside is perfectly presented; stylish, well-equipped and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are roomy, with great showers! There is no parking but while we were there (mid May) we were able to park in the street outside the property most of the time. Other times we parked elsewhere. There is plenty of parking in the area, so it wasn't a problem at all. Overall, no complaints at all!

Very conveniently located in the centre of Aberaeron close to all shops, cafes & restaurants yet in a very quiet road. Fabulously comfortable house with all mod cons & everything you need for a relaxing holiday right near the sea with plenty of interesting places to visit nearby

  • "Overall, a fantastic holiday!"

The holiday house was lovely, very spacious and in a great location for exploring the surrounding areas. The shower was particularly impressive! A lovely house to return to after being out for the day, very relaxing and cosy. Parking was a bit of a nightmare due to close proximity to the high street and lack of designated parking (we were aware of this prior to the holiday though). We did have to wipe some of the surfaces down on arrival as they were quite dusty. However, this didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay. Would definitely recommend!

. We contacted sykes on the day, they contacted owner and we were able to stay for the 3 night mid week break.. Beautiful place, blew away our expectations.. Definitely go back and recommend..

  • "Property very inviting, very tastefully decorated and refurbished."

Close to all amenities with just a few minutes walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. The sea front is close too, as is the river walk. We met with the owner on arrival and she was welcoming and available for contact if necessary. The quality of appliances, furniture and utensils is of a high standard. I would recommended this holiday home to anyone wishing to take a break in Aberaeron.

  • "A lovely house you knew it was going to be homely as soon as you walked through the door."

Spotlessly clean. Decor and furnishings top notch. Would have loved to use the log burner but didn't need to as the house was always warm and cosy. Good location. Would definitely return.

  • "The standard of this cottage was extremely high, every single item from cups, and kitchen equipment through to settees and beds was of the highest quality."

It has obviously been renovated recently and the owners have made a wonderful job providing a faultless cottage. The kitchen and the bathroom are in particular, excellent. The outside area is small, and not very inviting but that it not important when the cottage is so well placed for the harbour, the sea front or the riverside. Overall a fantastic cottage in a most wonderful place.

Very comfortable from the couches in the lounge to the beds in the bedroom. Near to main high street for nice walks, shops and restaurants. Parking can be a pain don't expect to park outside in high season!

  • "We had a lovely week at the Water Street cottage."

The cottage was very comfortable and had an excellent kitchen which was fully equipped. The bedrooms were lovely and the main bathroom was enormous with a lovely deep bath and great shower. The cottage is only a 2 minute walk to the harbour area, shops and restaurants. It was not an issue that the cottage doesn’t have any parking we always managed to find free parking close by in adjacent streets despite the town being very busy. Can highly recommend the property.

  • "The description on the website was a bit over the top and inaccurate and this was pointed out to the sales advisor(online chat)."

It is still incorrect (8/9/18) The number and size of beds in the description is not correct. Eg "Sumptuous King Size " and "twin room" when in fact both had the same size double bed. This is not to detract from the house itself - it exceeded our expectations! The house itself was very comfortable, newly refurbished and had all the facilities we needed. The upstairs was very comfortable with thick carpets, modern bathrooms and plenty of towels. The kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances and things like dishwasher tablets and cleaning products provided which is not always the case. The owner was very helpful. The location was perfect - we could walk into Aberaeron within a few minutes where we could find shops, cafes, restaurants and the harbour. There was also a quiet riverside walk in the other direction, and two parks within walking distance nearby with childens' play equipment, Parking wasn't a problem as the road was fairly quiet.
