"Heating quickly warmed the property."
It was clean throughout. Delighted to have tea/coffee provided. Information book was helpful. Easy contact with owner. He phoned in the day after our arrival to check all was well. Recommendation of breakfast/dinner at ty Glyn was good. We had breakfast which was filling and tasty and for a good price. 10% discount was applied as we had stayed at the property. Outdoor space if needed. Shower wasn’t the most powerful but adequate to get washed!

"Lovely lodge in a stunning area, really quite & having Red Kites visit every day was an added bonus, it was really comfortable & warm if a little dated in the furniture/ decor although this didn’t take away from the accommodation, shower was not very powerful but adequate."
Need a car to access services ie eating out, shops etc but well worth a visit & would stay again.

"Lovely relaxing week spent in a well equipped, and clean cottage."
Countryside views right from the sofa! Plenty of hidden coves nearby to visit, alongside the more well known places. Zoom in on Google maps to find them. Loved the setting of the cottage in the well kept field, so close to where a neighbour feeds the red kites most days. A real gem and hopefully, we will be returning before too long.
Thank you for such lovely comments. Glad you enjoyed your stay, and would be welcomed back any time. Property Owner

"The property is on a small estate."
It is a mixture of holiday let's and permanent residents. It's quiet and has great views. Our building was clean and had good facilities, (including wi-fi). The shower was not great. No real power and not very hot. The usual kitchen items are not provided, (salt, pepper, oil, cling film, kitchen foil or paper). A pint of milk and some Welsh cakes were gifted, and were welcome. We recommend a visit to the nearby National Trust house, (which is excellent). Great walks, an attached small farm, and an interesting house.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, but I am saddened to see there were problems that you encountered. The shower was tested after your departure and nothing was found to be wrong. When the dials were set to maximum pressure and maximum heat it did indeed eject water at a high temperature and pressure. As you will understand, the shower control unit in the power shower controls how hot the water is etc. Had I been advised at the time I could have been of assistance. As you will appreciate, the usual kitchen items would not necessarily be supplied in a 'self-catering' accommodation. I am sorry this property did not meet your expectations, but hope you enjoyed your stay nevertheless. Kind regards Property Owner
