  • "This is our 4th year to Hunstanton and our 2nd time staying at flat 1."

    Great place to stay and perfect size for a family of 4. I could see the owner had added in a few new bits since our last stay, rugs, doormat and cover for the garden furniture. There was a issue with one of the mattresses on the single bed they rung me whilst we were on our way and it was all sorted by the time we arrived. Its in a great location as everything is in walking distance (arcades, swimming, old Hunstanton beach and shops) and that's one of the reasons we like Hunstanton so much. We did a few days trips and never had a issue parking. The garden is beautiful and a great place to sit and read a book and great for the kids. Next year we will likely try somewhere else but we would definitely be back again at some point on the future.

  • "We stayed for a week during the heat wave which is challenging for any accommodation but this flat was cool heaven to escape from the afternoon heat."

    Location is superb - near to shops/cafes/bowling green, the best ice creams in East Anglia, the Coastliner bus stop. We have stayed in lots of places in North Norfolk over 30 years and this comes in our top 2. The only thing missing was a teapot!

  • "We had a lovely week at this flat with our dog."

    It was spacious, clean and had a beautiful garden. It was also located a few minutes walk from the beach and was very handy for the town centre.

  • "This was our first time booking Flat 1 after many previous visits to Hunstanton, but we have already booked it again for 2027."

    It is ideally located with an easy walk into town, down to the sea front or along to Old Hunstanton. It is also great for the Saturday morning Parkrun, with the start only a minute's walk away. The property was ideal for my older parents as once you were in the front door it is all on one level apart from a few steps up into the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of space in all the rooms, with a really nice garden to sit in - when the temperatures weren't too high. Flat 1 was perfect for a relaxing week away, with everything that we needed.

  • "We had such a lovely time away."

    The flat was so spacious and had everything we needed for the week. The garden and ample street parking was a massive plus too. Shower was excellent, everything was really clean, neat and fresh. Couldn't fault this accommodation and would certainly recommend. Thank you for an amazing stay.

  • "This is the best accommodation we've stayed so far with Sykes."

    The accommodation and garden were lovely and far bigger than the photos showed. We loved the kitchen and garden. The garden was lovely in the sunshine and we enjoyed sitting in it. The only issue we had was the TVs that we had to retune as the signals were not great. But I'm sure the owner will sort this upon reading this. We can definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone. Great place. :-)

  • "We had a wonderful holiday."

    The flat was extremely comfortable, spacious and tidy. Fantastic location. Highly recommended. It would be helpful to have an extension lead in the twin bedroom to use a hairdryer near a picture and information regarding recycling for bin.

  • "This is a great property."

    It’s much bigger than seems online and the word flat doesn’t do it justice. 2 huge bedrooms and a nice wet room. The lounge and kitchen are lovely and opens onto a marble terrace and enclosed garden. Perfect for our dog and good location between old and new Hunstanton and easy walking to town and parks and beach. Easy to part outside on the road. Would definitely book again if in the area.

  • "We had an excellent week, the flat was immaculate, lovely garden too."

    We would happily book again. Minor points for owner: The front bedroom is very light from street lights and in the morning due to very thin middle curtain. It would be useful to have some instructions for the equipment, and a bread knife.

  • "Lovely bolthole each night whilst trying to move house from the West Country to Hunstanton!"

    We booked this because of the long distance between the old and new houses and were really pleased with this flat. We had the 6ft bed made up and it was very comfortable after long days unpacking in our new house. A few small things to improve - more small hand towels would be welcome, as would a table beneath the tv in bed 2 and also next to the bedsides in bed 2. Otherwise, thank you for a relaxing stay!

  • "We've stayed at Hunstanton for the last few years now at different properties, it's always been one of our favourite places to visit with everything being on the doorstep."

    We have also stayed at Northgate before but nearer to the shops. The flat was a great size, lovely high ceilings and nice and modern. I think the people who own the property are new to holiday rentals and so far they have done a great job. Just a couple of things I'd mention: 1. None of the blinds in the main room were attached for us to pull up or down. 2. I'd suggest some blackout curtains or blind in the second room as when it's a sunny day it's very bright very early. 3. A breadbin to store bread in the kitchen would be handy. 4. A mat by the backdoor, we had a few rainy moments so when we went back out in the garden the kids would run wet shoes in, a long mat across the back doors would help this. 5. A lock on the gate, we had someone from the upstairs flat come into the garden because they thought they could also use it, they were very apologetic, but it did then make me feel less secure knowing anyone could just wander round. 6. Not sure if the bathroom extractor fan was working, didn't sound like it was on. You do hear a lot of movement from the upstairs flat, but thats flats for you. Parking wise, the road it fairly busy for parking, we never struggled to get a space just be prepared to park abit further away from the flat. Beautiful flat and would deffo recommend and return.   • "This is a stunning property, beautifully furnished with a well equipped kitchen."

    Flat one has lots of little extra touches to the decor and furnishings to give it a real high end luxury feel. A wonderfully large shower that is powerful- absolute must to wash off that suncream. Very very spacious, light and airy with a large patio with dining furniture and very pretty mature gardens, a stones throw to the town centre and beautiful views of the sea. Parking was no issue at all. This was our first visit to Hunstanton but definitely not our last we would love to stay at flat one again it's an absolutely perfect spot- close enough to walk to beach, amenities but far enough that's its peaceful. The flat was beautifully cool during the extreme temperatures ( End of June 2025)

  • "Lovely house in great location."

    Clean and comfortable. Was disappointed that there was no garden furniture and garden was somewhat unkempt. I believe the owners were waiting for new furniture and a gardener. Only 1 small towel per person for 4 nights was a bit tricky. We have always been given 2 in hotels and rented accommodation. One concern we did have was on bin collection day the bins were placed outside by the owner leaving the garden gate wide open which had we not spotted on our return would have enabled our small dog to escape onto the road.

  • "Very happy with everything."

    Well presented and comfortable. Loved the sofa in the sitting room. Perhaps a clothes horse would be useful to keep in one of the cupboards for rainy day clothes or swimming costumes but I believe we were one of the very first guests and the owner is still adding the final details. I have already recommended you to my friends and family.

The award-winning coastal town of Hunstanton, locally known as Sunny Hunny, is located on the Western side of the East Norfolk Coastline, renowned for its beautiful sunsets over the sea. Hunstanton is a great family-friendly holiday destination. The seafront with promenade offers rock and candyfloss stalls, funfair rides, a sealife sanctuary, bowls, golfing, a leisure centre, pitch-and-putt, Esplanade gardens, theatre, clean sandy beaches, donkey rides and sea tours in an amphibious craft. On Sunday afternoons a band often plays in the bandstand on the green overlooking the beach, serenading sunbathers and day-trippers, while throughout the year additional events are held within the town.
