Spent a weekend here and it was absolutely perfect, we have not got a single complaint. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were amazing and were on hand if you needed anything. Six of us stayed here and we all said we have never had a better nights sleep, the beds and pillows were the comfiest any of us have ever slept on! Could not recommend a better place to stay!

The cottage provides all the facilities one requires. We were lucky with the weather and so were able to chill in the garden. I would definitely recommend for a group stay away.

  • "Stabla was absolutely ideal for our stay in Chwilog."

We were so very comfortable, and grateful to be able to stay in such a special place. We loved the historic nature of the property and the lovely serene setting. Nothing was lacking in 'our home'. The only problem was that we were only there for 3 nights! There is so much to explore in the area. We were torn as to whether to luxuriate in this fabulous home or do our requisite tourism (visiting from Canada so so excited to see historic landmarks, Snowdonia...). Thankfully we were able to do both. I certainly hope I will come back someday, it was truly perfect. Thank you.

  • "Having a downstairs bedroom was the the thing that clinched our booking."

Our aging dog would’ve been stressed if we’d have left him alone at night, but this way he could be in the kitchen with one of us nearby. Cozy but with plenty of room, spotlessly clean, all needs met, secure garden and great recommendations for places to visit. Loved it.

Converted stable, tastefully renovated retaining original features. Next door there is a medieval hall and apparently the owners have acted as witnesses for ‘elopement weddings’

Access to fabulous towns and beaches with 30 minutes drive plus Snowden a little further away. A broom, dustpan and brush would have been good - plus a few more toilet rolls, but these are minor quibbles - I would recommend this house for a quiet and comfortable holiday.

Loved every minute. Very nice welcome and some treats in the kitchen. Sofas and fire a high point. Bigger than it looks and very clean and tidy. The WiFi - whilst fairly quick - was a bit up and down which seems to be because it's strung across from another building. I'd say it worked 70% of the time. I did manage to rig a hotspot so it wasn't the end of the world. It might also be a bonus for some

The owners could not have been more welcoming and we plan to return and stay again...despite living about 10 hours drive away. The cottage is beautiful and contained everything we needed. It was warm and cosy in October, despite being open plan. The hot tub was the cherry on the cake. The local area is stunning, with plenty of activities inside and out. We can highly recommend the Ty Coch Inn and beach on a sunny day and the Zip World Caverns on a rainy one.
