“Lovely accommodation, we stayed for Christmas and the house was decorated with a tree and a nice touch of mince pies and Prosecco left for us.”

Everything there that we needed and a lovely spot near the river and viaduct. The only downside was the signal for mobile phones was very poor and the WiFi blocked for any social media access so we couldn’t contact anyone until we left the complex. ...

Everything there that we needed and a lovely spot near the river and viaduct. The only downside was the signal for mobile phones was very poor and the WiFi blocked for any social media access so we couldn’t contact anyone until we left the complex. The walk into Whitby is 25 minutes to the centre even for a fast walker, there is a steep bank to walk up to get out of complex. Probably a nicer walk in summer as cinder tack was very muddy and to take the main road meant walking on a busy narrow, unlit road without footpaths for about 5-7 minutes. This is a lovely quiet spot for a visit to Whitby, just need to be aware of how far it is to the centre of town.
