The stylish kitchen/diner is well-equipped for preparing everything from leisurely breakfasts to hearty evening meals after a day on the trails, while the utility room adds extra practicality to your stay.

After dinner, retire to the sitting room, where a woodburning stove creates a warm and inviting focal point, perfect for unwinding with a film on the TV or planning the next day's adventures through the Peak District.

When it's time to turn in, four welcoming bedrooms await.

Two double bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including a double with its own en-suite shower room for added privacy, while a further double bedroom can be found on the second floor alongside a twin.

A shower room on the top floor, along with cloakrooms on the ground and first floors, ensures convenience for all guests throughout their stay.

Outside, the enclosed rear garden offers a lovely spot to enjoy the fresh Derbyshire air with a morning coffee or an evening drink.

Please note there is a stream running through the garden, so children should be supervised at all times. A shop and traditional village pub are both within easy walking distance, while the charming village of Tideswell is famed for the striking Church of St John the Baptist, often known as the "Cathedral of the Peak".

Explore nearby Castleton, home to Mam Tor, Peveril Castle, and the fascinating Blue John Cavern.

Visit the spa town of Buxton to discover Poole's Cavern, The Pavilion Gardens, and Buxton Opera House.

The village of Tideswell stands in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Famous for its fine church dedicated to St John the Baptist, known as "The Cathedral of the Peak", the village is also noted for its well dressing and carnival wakes. There is excellent walking with rugged peaks to the north, gentle hills and dales to the south and Millers Dale just outside the village. Mam Tor and Castleton are only a few miles away and the popular Spa town of Buxton is within a 15 minute drive. Tideswell has many fine country inns, a chemist, butchers, bakers and much more including a convenient supermarket open daily until 10pm. The pretty little market town of Bakewell is also just a short drive away and well worth a visit.
