Property Ratings

As part of our commitment to maintaining high standards and exceeding expectations, we have introduced Customer and Sykes ratings. These ratings enable us to continuously improve the customer journey for you and others on behalf of the property owner(s).

Customer Ratings (star)

Customer ratings are calculated as an average of all published reviews (unpublished reviews are currently excluded) provided by guests. They are then converted to a score out of five. Once the property has received three published reviews, ratings will be displayed on the property's page.

Sykes Ratings (tick)

Sykes' expert Property Consultants handpick, approve, and assign tick ratings to the property during the initial onboarding stage. While tick ratings vary, they are all based on the same, fundamental standard.

Customer and Sykes ratings are indicated at the top of each cottage description and in the search results.

1 tick / star - Simple, practical, no frills.
2 ticks / stars - Well presented and well run.
3 ticks / stars - Good level of quality and comfort.
4 ticks / stars - Excellent standard throughout.
5 ticks / stars - Exceptional standard with a degree of luxury.
