  • “We really enjoyed our holiday in the Isle.”

The cottage is in a great location, is lovely and clean and has a stunning view. Would definitely visit again!

The property

This wonderful cottage is situated in the village of Ventnor, Isle of Wight, bringing you a comfortable place to stay, with beautiful sea views that can be admired both from the interior and sunny garden.

Perfect for couples or a small family, this retreat is a refreshing holiday choice, a light and airy home for you to sit back and take in the calming clear waters.

The sitting room is perfect for exactly that, a lovely place to settle down after a long adventure out and about.

Beyond this, discover the freshly designed kitchen, and the helpful utility area which features those extras you may need during your stay.

For more exceptional views, wander upstairs to the bedrooms where you will be spoilt for choice between the master suite, and the second room which holds both a double bed, and single bed too.

With magnificent sea views drifting by in the distance, you can sleep peacefully and wake up to the glorious scenery all over again.

The bathroom is an excellent, homely addition to the property, benefiting from delightful finishing touches.

After readying yourself for the day ahead, why not stroll outside to the garden.

Complete with a patio, lawn and decked area; another perfect opportunity to appreciate the location at its finest.

Added to this, the location is at the foot of St. Boniface Down which is the highest point on the island and National Trust owned, so has wonderful walks and views from here, plus history of being first lookout post and radar station during the war for planes coming across the Channel.

A good variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants line the esplanade, whilst the Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit.

A lovely place to spend some quality time.

About the location

VENTNOR

Newport 10 miles; Cowes 15 miles.

The quaint Victorian seaside resort of Ventnor is located at the southern end of the island and accessed via an array of steep winding roads set amidst beautiful scenery. Sheltered by St. Boniface Down, one of the island's highest points and an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this charming town has a uniquely mild micro climate enabling tropical and exotic plants to grow throughout the area. The gently sloping sandy and fine shingle beaches and coves provide excellent facilities for watersports and offer a range of stunning coastal paths to explore, while the harbour sells a broad range of fresh fish and locally-caught seafood. A good variety of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants line the esplanade, whilst the Botanical Gardens are within easy reach and well worth a visit. With plenty to see and do around the island for all the family, including great walking and cycling opportunities, medieval castles, historic houses and a variety of gardens and waterfalls, as well as the unspoilt fishing bay, this great holiday destination has plenty to offer all year round, and it's easy to see why it's known as the prettiest place on the Isle of Wight.
