Ty Newydd Farm Cottages

A pair of former farm buildings, offering welcoming and cosy accommodation, set alongside the owner’s smallholding in the heart of the undulating Carmarthenshire countryside and close to popular market towns and rural villages. These quaint holiday cottages are set in the small hamlet of Croeslan, just a few miles from the riverside town of Llandysul and a short drive from New Quay and the sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay. They have been furnished with comfort in mind, each with their own individual characters. These terraced cottages are light and airy with well-equipped kitchens, dining areas and comfy seating to relax into after a day exploring the local area. Both cottages have access to the owner’s meadow, ideal for a picnic spot or walking the dogs. These rural Carmarthenshire cottages benefit from being surrounded by undulating countryside with plenty of opportunities to walk, cycle and visit some fabulous rural idylls yet being close to the country town of Carmarthen with a great selection of high street chains and individual traders or the start of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, both 20 miles away. The coast is 10 miles away at the pretty seaside village of Llangrannog and a little further on is the traditional harbourside resort of New Quay, which offers fantastic dolphin spotting opportunities, fabulous bird life and you may glimpse the resident grey seals. Sandy beaches and intimate coves stretch away in both directions with the pretty harbour town of Aberaeron 16 miles, with its famous honey ice-cream or villages such as Tresaith and Aberporth 12 miles away. There are various outdoor activities with canoeing and kajaking in nearby Llandysul, coasteering, mountain biking with the fabulous expanse of Brechfa Forest with a myriad of trails and footpaths being just 10 miles away across the imposing Llanllwni Mountain. The River Teifi is a popular fishing river and meanders through the market town of Newcastle Emlyn and onto the Cenarth Falls, where you may catch the season when the salmon leap. A perfect pair of Carmarthenshire cottages, an ideal base for couples, families or small groups looking to get away in pretty, rural countryside a short drive from the sandy beaches of West Wales and quaint little towns, villages and harbours.

With the market towns of Newcastle Emlyn and Llandysul, known for its canoeing, both within easy reach and offering a good range of facilities and lovely New Quay and Cardigan Bay (famous for dolphin and seal watching) with its Blue Flag beaches and coast within easy driving distance, as well as a steam railway, paintballing and a dry ski slope all available locally, this great location has plenty to offer!.
