Our new TV advert - your perfect place awaits

We’re very excited to unveil our brand new TV advert. After the success of our recent dog-friendly holidays campaign, we thought it was time to celebrate the whole range of fantastic properties we manage across the nation.

We’ve got an endless selection of just about every type of holiday home you could possibly imagine, making up our portfolio of over 10,000 properties. Lighthouses, yurts, castles, townhouses, windmills, barn conversions, contemporary pads – the list goes on and on!

We hope you enjoy our latest advert as much as we enjoyed making it.

Behind the Scenes of our new TV advert

With properties in some of the UK’s most beautiful locations, we couldn’t wait to hit the road with Hurricane, the creative agency responsible for bringing our advert to life.

Over the course of over a week, the production team travelled from the quaint surroundings of the Mendips to the gorgeous wilds of Exmoor, and from the breath-taking seascapes of Cornwall and Dorset to the leafy Devonshire countryside, to capture a selection of our properties for the screen.

Jon Mowat, Hurricane’s Managing Director, had this to say: “The Hurricane team faced an enjoyable challenge on this production.  How could we cover the huge range of Sykes locations in just 30 seconds?  We set ourselves some ambitious targets and spent a highly enjoyable week on the road.

“High points were chasing the tide down a sandy beach, waiting for the sun to sink over a Devonshire cottage and racing against the British weather to film a classic barbecue scene.”

Behind the Scenes at the Sykes Advert Shoot

If one of our TV properties caught your eye, filming took place at some of the following wonderful locations:

  • Beautiful Limecombe, in the heart of Exmoor, is our idyllic hilltop getaway
  • The Roundhouse, a quirky wood-built retreat at the edge of the Mendip Hills
  • Ancarva, a stunning contemporary getaway along the tranquil shoreline of Cornwall’s Rame Peninsula
  • Stopes Cottage at Old Higher Lighthouse, standing amid the dramatic clifftop scenery of Portland Bill, on the Dorset Coast
  • Barley Meadow in rural Devonshire, the perfect spot for watching the sunset whilst you take a dip in the hot tub
