The property

This spacious fisherman’s cottage is situated in a small cul-de-sac in the centre of the village of Whitehills, Aberdeenshire.

This lovely cottage is spread over three levels and has captivating sea views from every room.

The property would be ideal for a family group or group of friends who will love the coastal location and pretty harbour with is colourful boats and friendly ambience.

Located in a pretty village the cottage has a back door providing access to steps down to a small lane which leads directly to the shingle beach.

At ground floor level there is a bright comfortable sitting room with large TV, a great space for relaxation and just across the hallway is the kitchen/dining room which is well-equipped and has everything required to prepare tasty home-cooked meals.

The bathroom is also on ground floor level and from the hallway stairs lead down to the utility room and master bedroom on the lower ground floor.

The first floor has a twin and a double bedroom.

After a busy day, the patio is an ideal place to relax and take in wonderful views.

For children there is a play park in the village, and for adults in search of wildlife then the Moray Firth Coast is rich in seals, dolphins, whales and a wide variety of seabirds.

Exploring this stretch of coastline is a must, as there are many little villages all with their own history and places of interest or perhaps you would prefer to drive inland and pick up the famous Malt Whisky Trail and partake in a drop of tasting.

For scenery, this is a dramatic stretch of coastline with rugged rocks, sandy beaches and stunning views.

There is something for everyone in this unspoilt part of Scotland and this welcoming cottage will ensure everyone has a great holiday.

Whitehills is just one of the many atmospheric fishing villages dotted along the stunning north east coastline of Scotland. The village boasts a friendly local pub serving good food and a highly-regarded restaurant at the marina, as well as a grocer’s and a fish shop. The modern marina in the village is a busy destination for boats, especially yachts and pleasure crafts. Conveniently placed just three miles from Banff and five miles from Portsoy, this location has much to offer visitors who will enjoy following the rugged coastline that borders the shores of the Moray Firth, and away from the coast, the area is a mixture of rich farmlands and small hamlets surrounded by luscious green fields - a wonderful base for exploring this part of Scotland.
