Being situated right in the heart of the national park and well-connected to the rest of the wider region, there’ll be plenty of places to visit nearby when staying at one of these Garwnant lodges.  For those of you that are keen to get up into the hills for plenty of hiking, then you’re in luck, as the region’s highest peaks like Corn Du and Pen y Fan can be reached by taking just a 20-minute drive from the site.  On the other hand, taking a short drive north of the site will bring you to the town of Brecon, a great place to consider going for a day trip. Here, you'll find the town’s ancient cathedral as well as a handful of interesting attractions like The Royal Welsh Regimental Museum and the picturesque Brecon Canal Basin. There’s so much to see and do during a holiday to one of these Garwant lodges.

Is parking available at Garwnant Lodges?
Each cabin at Garwnant has two allocated parking spaces, except for our Golden Oak Treehouse cabins, which has three allocated parking spaces.
Can I charge my Electric Vehicle (EV) at Garwnant?
There are facilities available for charging up to four electric vehicles at Garwnant. These are located near the cabins. There are no facilities to charge electric vehicles at the visitor centre, which is located just under a mile away from the cabins.
Is WiFi included at Garwnant Lodges?
Basic internet access is available at Garwnant, however you can upgrade to premium WiFi with the in-cabin entertainment package. This can be purchased either before or during your stay (subject to availability). WiFi is also available for use in the Forest Retreat.
Can I bring my own food to my Garwnant Forest lodge?
Of course! Every lodge at Garwnant has its own well-equipped kitchen, giving you the opportunity to cook your own delicious meals whenever you like.
What time can I check-in/check-out of my Garwnant Forest lodge?
You can check-in between 16:00 and 20:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is before 10:00 on the morning of departure. For a supplementary fee, your stay can be extended with early check-in (14:00) or a late check-out (12:00).
What do Garwnant Forest Lodges include?
All cabins come with a private hot tub, fully equipped kitchen along with all bedding. Some specifications vary, please refer to individual cabin specifications for more details. The cost of renting the log cabin also includes all electricity and gas used during your stay.
What types of Lodges are available at Garwnant Forest?
There are six different types of lodges available at Garwnant: - Golden Oak - Golden Oak Hideaway - Golden Oak Treehouse - White Willow Premium - Silver Birch - Silver Birch (Wheelchair-adapted)
Can I bring my dog or other pets to Garwnant lodges?
Dogs and other pets are welcome at Garwnant lodges for an additional per pet nightly charge. When booking make sure you add the number of pets in Your Party. There are plenty of great walks in the forest, however we do ask that you keep your dog on a lead around the location.
