Galeri Caernarfon is a cinema and arts space offering a varied programme each and every month of the year. From music and dance to theatre and films, there’s something to draw visitors of all interests here.
The space welcomes families and hosts screenings of family feature films every Saturday and Sunday morning, plus more during the school holidays. There are also plenty of family-friendly theatre productions and workshops on offer here.
As well as performance art, Galeri Caernarfon hosts art exhibitions each year incorporating painting, drawing, print, photography, textiles, jewellery, and sculpture. Showcasing the work of both local artists and those from across the UK, there is a wide range of pieces and themes covered here.
As well as family favourites, the cinema hosts regular screenings of the National Theatre Live and The Metropolitan Opera.
Galeri’s cafè bar, serving homecooked food using fresh produce provided by local suppliers, is a popular spot for pre- or post-screening refreshments. There is a children’s menu and plenty of snacks and sweets to keep them happy in the cinema!
