Helm Crag
Start the walk from the carpark next to the garden centre. Head towards Easedale Road and keep following the road until you reach a gate leading to a farm. Go through the gate and take a right to begin the ascent to Helm Crag.
You will see a well-trodden foot path that will ascend then flatten out and then ascend once more as you approach the summit. When you reach the top, you will find two crags, the first is known as Lion and the Lamb and the second is the summit of Helm Crag. To reach the summit itself you will need to do some scrambling, and this is only advised for those experienced in this activity. The views from here are breathtaking.
Retrace your steps to make your way back to the car park.
