Llanddwyn Beach

This picturesque sandy beach is backed by Newborough Forest and extensive sand dunes. Sitting at the western tip of Anglesey, the beach juts out to sea on a narrow peninsula. With its exposed, westerly position, this beach is a particularly popular spot for kite surfing.

The beach is also popular with wildlife watchers due to the stunning natural surroundings. Seals, dolphins and even whales have been spotted bobbing in the water, while the nearby forest is home to an abundance of red squirrels.

Dogs are restricted on the west side of the beach during the summer months.
