The Monsal Trail is a traffic-free route that passes through some of the Peak District’s most beautiful limestone dales for walkers, cyclists, horseback riders, and wheelchair users.
Between Blackwell Mill in Chee Dale and Coombs Road in Bakewell, the trail runs for 8.5 miles along the former Midland Railway line.
