Nanjizal Beach, Cornwall

Popular with walkers of the coast path, Nanjizal Beach is a pretty cove strewn with boulders and boasting clear waters where seals can often be spotted. There are plenty of caves to explore here along with unusual rock formations. Don’t forget to check out the enchanting Song of the Sea Cave here too – it’s an ideal photo opportunity!

Due to Nanjizal Beach being relatively tucked away, it is often quiet, making for a relaxing day day out; why not treat yourself to a picnic here? There are ample rock pools here that the little ones will love exploring, too.

You can only reach the beach by foot via the South West Coast Path from Porthgwarra! The nearest car park is Porthgwarra Car Park and it is 2.5 miles away, making this a lengthy walk; please prepare accordingly!

Whilst the hike from Porthgwarra isn’t short, it is certainly beautiful. Views of Carn Les Boel and Mill Bay make the trail to Nanjizal Beach a special one.

If you’re willing to embark on a longer walk to Nanjizal Beach, why not venture here from Land’s End? You’ll get to enjoy sights of Enys Dodnan Arch, Pordenack Point and Carn Boel if you follow this route.

Dogs are welcome at Nanzijal Beach throughout the year without restrictions, so you can look forward to coastal dog walks.

Enjoy a relaxing day in the sun and sand at Nanjizal Beach, Cornwall…
