Directions

  1. Begin your journey at the Horton in Ribblesdale National Trust Car Park before making your way out the entrance and onto Horton Scar Lane.
  2. Take the first right and follow the path around until you reach the Horton Beck.
  3. Continue along the route with the Horton Beck on your left until you arrive at Brackenbottom.
  4. Once at the centre of Brackenbottom, follow the walking trail to the left, continuing before taking the second route on the left.
  5. Carry along this route, baring left when you can, until you reach Pen-y-Ghent.
  6. From Pen-y-Ghent, follow the Pennine Way. After 0.6 miles, turn left to stay on the Pennine Way. Continue for 0.9 miles.
  7. After 1.1 miles, turn right and continue along the road for 0.2 miles to reach Hull Pot.
  8. From Hull Pot, follow the straight road of the Pennine Way for 2 miles to bring you back to Horton in Ribblesdale.
