Pencarrow House and Gardens

Pencarrow House and Gardens has been the family home of the Molesworth-St Aubyns for almost 500 years and the estate offers much for visitors to explore. A guided tour of the house is the best way to discover the history of the building and the art and antiques within it.

The gardens that immediately surround the house are home to free-range chickens and peacocks as well as the Peacock Café which has indoor and outdoor seating and serves up lunches and delicious cakes.

The house also boasts 50 acres of stunning grounds which were designed in the mid-19th century. Dogs are welcome to explore the gardens and surrounding woodland although they must be kept on leads close to the house where the birds roam.

This stately home is a must during any history lover’s visit to Cornwall…
